CH 26. For.

"Talia I love you but get a god damn room" I heard Martin say instantly feeling a bit embarrassed. "How long have you been there?" I said confused, he sighed. "The whole time everyone else went upstairs I figured I'd take the time to be alone down here" he explained. "But I too feel the same, I'm with you. I have my own concerns but when has that stopped us before right?" He said I smiled and nodded in agreement. "Exactly, I'm sure we got this" I said to him trying to solidify the small confidence I had.

~Freya's POV~

It had been about an hour since our last conversation and it was still quiet I was messing with my abilities trying to figure out new combinations, Talia was meditating I don't know how she could in a situation like this. She had a ring of fire and rocks floating around here as she meditated. I didn't know what the others were doing but I hope they prepared because our hour of doing nothing is up.

"You think we should head out soon?" I asked Talia her fire instantly disappeared and the rocks dropped to the floor. "Shit I didn't even know you were still here I was so deep in my mind" she said getting up off the floor. I lightly chuckled "Sorry love I just didn't want to be stuck upstairs like the others" I explained she nodded. "It's okay but yeah I think we have been waiting too long" she said. I raised my arm up and let the vines grow up until it reached the ceiling and I knocked rapidly.

"Someone should hear that saves me the walk up" I said Talia smiled, "that's true but are you ready?" She asked, I was a bit nervous but nothing crazy "yeah as ready as I'll ever be" I replied forming my phantom arm into a mix of ice and wood making spikes grow out my forearm.

I heard the stairway door click open and saw the others walk out one by one "I assume that was the signal that time is up?" Blake said, I nodded. I'm a little confused on how he heard it but oh well.

"Is everyone ready?" Talia asked, everyone nodded and shrugged. "Let's get this over with I'm tired of the thought that the cult is still out there" Daija said, "well then let's get moving, time doesn't wait for anyone" Talia said. We started to walk out the theater one by one I looked by and sighed hoping that we all make it back unlike the last time we did something like this.

~Martin's POV~

I heard the main theater door shut and I sighed. "I can't let the same shit happen again" I thought to myself getting flashbacks to our fight with Albien. I sped walk next to Talia and slowed down when we were side by side, "so what's the plan when we get there?" I asked "yeah I"d like to know too" Yazmin said coming closer to us.

"Me and Dontae can use our earth abilities together and punch a hole in the wall, I think there sense of safety mainly comes from that wall" she said yeah like it did for us, but this time we are prepared. In a way we're being a Albien to the cult.

"Don't you think that's too aggressive? Wouldn't we get immediately shut down?" I asked thinking about our options. "I'm sure they won't expect it and if I got the right vibe from Roman I'm sure he won't be far we take him then the rest fall" Talia said sounding determined it was like she left a part of her back at the theater.

I sighed, "fine if that's what you think is best hermana" I said. I felt frustration settle in, it wasn't exactly directed towards Talia but in the plan it seems to weak we should be taking more caution when taking a risk this fucking big. I was going to express my frustration when a ball of fire came from my left and I was barely able to duck.

I snapped my head in the direction to see a group of zombies. "It wouldn't be a trip without the dead am I right?" Blake joked out, "now isn't the time Blake" Daija said. I scoffed and ran at the zombies. "Martin wait!" Talia called out I quickly formed a ball of lightning and then covered it in metal and forced it together.
