"What are you going as?" Invincible inquired.

"Kylo Ren, like, my take on him anyway. I'm really surprised you're going."

"Professor Winters and I are good friends actually. It's about time he held something. I didn't realize how close you were."

They continued to walk together across campus.

"For years. What are you going as?"

"Not sure. I'm not going to miss it though. It's the day before candy night anyway. Handing out candy with a hangover isnt the worse thing in the world."

Susan gasped and laughed a bt, "Vinny! You and alcohol?"

He laughed, "What? I like to let loose sometimes."

"You think DJ will go?"

"For the social aspect. He'll definitely go if I go."

"It sounds like all of you are going then. That'll be nice. I can finally hang out with you guys outside of school."

Invincible's heart pounded in his chest as he was trying to build up the courage to start a conversation about his feelings. Easier said than done in his case.

"Susan, I'm curious do —"

"And we're turning around." She linked arms with him and completely changed their direction.

"Where are we going?"

"What ever direction that isn't."

He glanced back and looked down the sidewalk at other students walking along campus. His eyes then spotted Cole talking to two other students near the cafe.

"What is he doing here?"

"Don't know, don't care. There's a coffee shop in the basement of the library. Are you in or out?"

She hadn't released his arm causing butterflies in his chest.

"I'm — uh — I'm in."

Their arms remained linked all the way to the building. Once there he opened the door for them and entered inside. They conversed making their way down the steps to the basement. At the center of the basement was a small coffee shop for the kids who spent their days studying there, which included her.

Each ordered their coffee and made their way out.

"Where should we sit?"

Suzy's eyes lit up just before she whistled loudly.

Invincible was confused until he saw Lucy running towards her, ears flopping all the way.

"Ugh my girl, what a great surprise."

Professor Dangerous rushed away from the copy machine in panic until he saw where his dog went.

"I was so confused." He approached the two. "Why are you guys here?"

"We saw Cole near the cafe and turned around." Susan explained.

D looked at his brother for a further explanation, "We get coffee together every day."

"I'm sorry?" A small fire lit inside of him.

"We get coffee together between classes, do our work together."

"Oh, that's nice." He smiled. "If you two want, I have a space rented out since my next class is canceled. Would you like to join?"

"I mean we —" Just as Invincible began Susan interrupted.

"Of course! We don't have to worry about being quiet then."

"Great, I'll show you where I'm at."

Dangerous lead the way with Lucy, Susan and Invincible behind. They entered the small room and began taking out their work items.
