His chest pressed warm against my back.

I smirked, still focused on my cutting. "Nice to see you too."

Gally leaned in, his breath teasing my ear. "I saw you had a lot of fun today."

"Did I?"

"Oh, yeah. Laughing around the whole Glade. Hiding in cornfields."

Ah. So that's what this was about.

I smirked but didn't turn around. "Jealous?"

He didn't answer.

Instead...his lips found my neck.

Slow. Teasing. A lazy drag of warmth against my skin.

I froze, hand tightening around the knife. "Gally..."

Another kiss.

"Have you lost your mind?" I hissed, finally twisting a bit to look at him. "Not here. If someone sees us..."

He didn't stop.

"Seriously, we'll get punished." I tried to sound firm, but my voice was already breathless.

His lips curved against my skin. "Rule Four, right?"

"Yes!" I snapped, barely able to think straight. "We..."

A sharp nip at my neck.

He knew what he was doing.

But then.. he stopped. Just like that.

Then he grabbed an apple and went to the door. He stood there, looking entirely too pleased with himself. A smirk and a wink. And then he was gone, leaving me in the middle of the kitchen with red cheeks.

It didn't stop after that kiss. Oh no. Gally made sure I wouldn't forget him.

Two days of this. Two days.

At dinner? He sat next to me, all casual, all normal until I felt his hand on my thigh under the table. He didn't even look at me. Just kept eating like nothing was happening.

I swallowed hard. And then I slapped his hand so hard he took it back.

"Mosquitos." I said with a shrug.

Another time, I was carrying water back from the stream when a hand grabbed my wrist and yanked me behind a tree. I barely had time to react before Gally's mouth was on mine. Hot, deep, tongue teasing against mine like he was proving a point.

I gasped into the kiss, but he just pulled me closer, one hand sliding down my back. Almost too low.

And then he stopped with a smirk. Just like that.

Like he didn't just ruin my whole damn brain.

Now I was working stacking planks near the storage hut, when Dirk showed up.

Great. Just what I needed.

"Hey, (Y/n)," he said, leaning against the stack. "Been lookin' for you."

I barely glanced at him. "Lucky me."

He chuckled. "You're always so funny." Then he stepped closer.

"How about we do something together?" he asked, voice all smooth.

I frowned. "Do what?"

"You know..." He shrugged. "Just hang out."

And actually, it was quite kind but then his arm was around my waist, pulling me in.

I shoved him. Hard. "Fuck off." I took a step back.

His face twisted, but he laughed like I was joking. "Oh, come on, don't be like that."

Then he cupped my face, getting closer. Fast.

I shoved him again. "I said, piss off!" I managed to break free from his grip.

His smile disappeared. Then he grabbed my wrists again, pinning them against the wall.

My heart started to beat faster. "Now, shut up!" He growled. My eyes widened, my breath hitched.

He leaned in.

But before his lips could touch mine, I kicked him. Right where it hurts.

He let me go, collapsing to the ground with a grunt.

And I went straight to him.

I didn't even think about it. My feet just took me to Gally's hut, but when I got there, he wasn't around.

I cursed, crossing my arms, sitting on the bed. Not scared. Not shaken. Just pissed.

After quite a while, the door opened.

"Well, well," Gally's voice drawled. "I knew you'd miss me."

I turned. His smirk was in place, all cocky.

And I didn't even hesitate.

"I do."

Then I grabbed his shirt and kissed him.

He grunted in surprise but instantly kissed back. It was deep, needy, full of all the frustration and adrenaline.

"Not that I'm complaining," he muttered when I pulled back, "but what the hell was that?"

I exhaled sharply. "Dirk."

His smirk dropped. "Huh? What about him?"

"Asshole tried to touch me. Nearly kissed me. But then I kicked him in the balls." I crossed my arms.

He blinked, his smirk returning. "He did...what?"

And he lost it.

Gally didn't just get mad...he snapped.

"Gally.. I just needed to tell you. But let's tell Alby cause..."

He stormed off.

"Gally!" I groaned, chasing after him.

"I'm just gonna talk," he said, voice deceptively calm.

Yeah. Right.

And then he saw him.

Dirk, standing near the builders.

Gally didn't hesitate. Didn't slow.

Just walked straight up, Dirk just turned around and Gally punched him.

One hit. Square to the face.

Dirk dropped instantly. Out cold.

Silence.

I blinked.

Mark whistled low. "Damn."

Tony raised an eyebrow. "Well... that was effective."
