Chapter 60: Time

INT. INFINITE HORIZON – BEYOND TIME AND SPACE

A vast, endless plane. The air hums with an ancient rhythm—each pulse a moment passing, each echo a century fading. Father Time stands at the center, an immense, robed figure, his body a flowing cascade of sand and celestial clockwork. His eyes are twin spirals, endlessly turning, pulling in the weight of eternity.

And then—a step.

A presence enters the realm. A mind that does not merely pass through time, but redesigns it.

THE ARCHITECT walks forward.

FATHER TIME
(voice deep, layered with a thousand voices of history)
"I wondered when you would come."

THE ARCHITECT
(curious)
"Did you? Or did I make it so?"

Father Time chuckles, a sound like sundials cracking and clock towers tolling.

FATHER TIME
"You seek to measure me? To change me?"

THE ARCHITECT
"No. I seek to understand you."

The sands around them swirl—memories, futures, all moments happening at once. Time is both motion and stillness, a paradox The Architect observes with fascination.

FATHER TIME
"You are unlike the others who try to master me. You do not fear me."

THE ARCHITECT
"Why would I? Fear is the burden of those who do not yet understand."

Father Time studies him. This one is dangerous. Not because he wishes to destroy, but because he questions what should be unchangeable.

FATHER TIME
"And what will you do with what you learn?"

THE ARCHITECT
"Build. Design. Create. Maybe even gift you something new."

Father Time pauses. Something new? That is rare. Time has always been a river, flowing one way. But The Architect… he does not swim in the river—he steps outside it.

FATHER TIME
"What do you propose?"

The Architect raises a hand. A blueprint forms.

A new way to experience time. A way where past, present, and future are not dictated by inevitability, but by choice.

Father Time watches. Considers.

And then… he laughs.
