My Saviour

(Lucy's POV)

She agreed and gave me 5 minutes then said she needed to do the IV "Okay I'm ready"I said shutting my eyes fully I felt her wipe my arm and immediately tensed up "Lucy can you try relax please?"Bailey asked.

"I'm too scared"i said shaking Bailey held my hand "open your eyes I'm not doing the needle yet okay"Bailey told me i opened my eyes "Take some deep breaths"She told me so i did "Good now relax"Bailey said "There we are okay now I'm gonna ask you to stay relaxed while i put in the needle"Bailey said i immediately sat up.

"No needles"I told her "Lucy I can get someone to come in if u need honey"Bailey told me "i just don't want any needles"I told her as I put both my arms under my duvet "Lucy please honey"She said "No I refuse!"I shouted at her.

"Since your being treated for a su!c!de attempt you don't have the right to refuse okay and if u keep refusing I'll have to restrain you to put in the needle"Bailey told me my heart dropped.

I sat up fully and pulled my legs into my chest "please just leave me alone"I begged her "I can't honey but if you let me put in 2 IVs really quick and weigh you too then I can leave you alone"Bailey told me.

"C-can you get Angela please?"i asked Bailey "sure one second okay honey"She said leaving the room i took out the needles and grabbed my hoodie before slipping out the window and running as fast as I could down the street I ducked into an alleyway and put back on my hoodie after taking off my gown.

(Zoe's POV)

We went back to Lucy's room only to find it empty her window open she'd run away I got my radio out from my holster "10-56,Lucy Chen,White Teen,Female,
16,Brown curly hair,grey hoodie,black joggers and brown eyes please secure her"I said into my radio then going out onto the streets.

(Lucy's POV)
I was walking towards a shop when a
cop came over to me "are you Lucy Chen?"he asked "Why?"i asked "You need to come with me"he told me as
he grabbed my hand and took me over to his shop.

He made me sit in the back and he drove me to a hospital "i want Zoe get me Zoe"i told him "she's on her way okay I'm Zoe's friend Wade Grey"he told me.

"Lucy come on darling"Zoe said approaching me "Can we go home please?"i asked her "not right now honey you've already proved you will runaway if left alone so you need to be treated here"Zoe told me.

"No im not staying at a hospital"i told her as i went to turn and run Someone grabbed my arm "Let go of me!"i shouted trying to shake the hand off my arm i looked up to see it was Bailey "Bailey let go of me"I yelled at her.

She didn't even loosen her grip she just picked me up and put me over her shoulder as she walked inside the hospital "PUT ME DOWN!"i yelled at her a doctor came out with a bed and Bailey put me on it "Lucy Chen,16,She needs to be treated for a Drug Overdose"Bailey told the doctor.

The doctor pushed me into a room and started gathering medical supplies he got out a needle so I stood up and walked back away from him "you're not coming near me with that"I told him.

"Listen Lucy you need treating okay you're going to be affected more if you don't let me help you so get on the bed"he told me "no leave me alone!"i yelled at him "Lucy just get on the bed!"he yelled at me i started tearing up and shook my head no.

He left the room then came back a few minutes later with 2 nurses "hey sweetheart what's your name?"one of them asked approaching me i stayed quiet "it would help me if i knew your name"she told me "it's Lucy"i whispered to her.

"Lucy. That's a pretty name"she said smiling at me "Thanks"i whispered
back "im nurse Sarah"she told me
"do you think you can get on the bed for me?"she asked i shook my head no and pushed myself back away from her.

"You don't need to move honey im not forcing you to do anything okay"she told me i nodded "What do you think would get you on the bed?"She asked
i stared at the floor "i could get someone to come in who do you want with you?"she asked.

"Zoe please"i told her quietly "Okay I'll go get Zoe can you wait here no running off?"she told me I nodded she left the room and returned a few moments later with Zoe "hey luce"she said coming in.

"Hi mum"I said looking up at her slowly "Come here honey"she said I shook my head no "what's going on?"she asked walking over to me and sitting beside me she put her arm around my shoulder and pulled me into a hug.

I tried pulling away at first then
eased into it "how about we try let the nurse help you?"she asked "o-okay"i whispered to her my voice shaky nurse Sarah came over "can you get on the bed?"she asked i nodded and stood up slowly.

"Good job sweetheart"the nurse said as I sat on the bed "Can you take your hoodie off?"She asked i shook my head no "please sweetheart we need to do some tests okay"she told me "lu I won't judge you for your arms okay"Zoe told me.

I nodded and took off my hoodie "okay I'm just going to do a blood test quick okay"She told me "I already said no to Bailey"I told her "lu i know your scared but it's too help you okay"Zoe said.

"i know"i said looking down Zoe hugged me "how about we just keep you looking away from the needle okay"she told me i nodded i felt my arm get wiped and stayed still i felt anxiety run through me when I felt the needle i started to shake.

"It's okay breathe"Zoe whispered it was finally in i held onto Zoe's top tightly
Nurse Sarah took blood then took out the needle she did a few IVs than left i was still gripping onto Zoe's top.
