a plan was never devised, seoyun acted as if nothing ever happened and so did jaeyun.
jaeyun he hasn't raced and it's been almost two weeks, sunghoon had to let them know he's taking a break.
the tension between the two was so strong, but somehow they still couldn't make up and it killed everyone.
streams of smoke came out of jaeyun's mouth as he sat with sunghoon near the river, his eyes filled with void.
"i think i might go back to Australia, sunghoon." he turns to face sunghoon and his best friends heart dropped, did he manifest this he thought, he should've never said it.
maybe it was the universe's way of punishing him of coming up with that terrible idea.
"no, it's not because of seoyun. I came back to Korea because i loved the street racing, but now that I'm dropping out I'll focus on studies over there, i think I'll major in physics." he slightly nods, and sunghoon's fingers start to shake because now his idea was real and he didn't want it to be.
"but it is because of seoyun, you're starting to push everyone away." he spoke in a hushed tone.
"i've never thought you'd fall in love with someone so hard."
jaeyun's heart clenched, "i've contemplated the idea long before i even met seoyun but after this fight, the group isn't going to be the same. I'm only taking up my past offer."
"my parents are waiting for me in Australia, i think i should just come back home and I'll visit sometimes since they travel back to Korea for business trips every couple of months."
"but i don't want you to go, you're my best friend. I won't enjoy street racing without you by my side, these cigarettes were smoking i won't enjoy it without you, fuck it I'd just quit it after you leave." sunghoon hurls his cigarette into the River.
jaeyun remained silent, he didn't really want to leave korea but he can't stay in Korea knowing his heart's shattering at every given second.

this time jungwon and jieun were at sunghoon's house, "there's something i have to tell you guys." sunghoon fidgets with his fingers as his anxiety grew.
the siblings watched him dumbfounded, "what's going on?"
"you know when we wanted to find a way to get them to make up... and i said we should tell her that he's leaving to Australia??" he averted his eyes from the two.
they were still confused, "where are you going with this just spill it!" jieun snapped.
"he's leaving jieun, jaeyun actually wants to move back to Australia." he looks up at the both of them who looked devastated.
"you're not fucking serious, are you?" jieun's jaw drops.
"what the fuck." jungwon hissed, and sunghoon face paled.
"but seoyun.." jieun murmurs, "now we really have to tell her." jungwon trails his eyes to the ground.
"did you try to talk him out of it? He surely can't mean it." jieun assured it but sunghoon shook his head.
"he said his parents are waiting in Australia if he decides to go back, and that he'll continue his studies over there"
"you both know the real reason he came back was to make money for himself with street racing."
"but he's loaded now and he's giving it up, and no one can change his mind not even me."
"how do we even tell seoyun." jungwon exhaled deeply.
