"...or maybe after I give myself a bath."
You headed straight towards your former bedroom just to see it clean and proper, shocking you a bit.
Did he...
"Heh... Of course not. Who am I fooling?" I scratched the back of my head as I smiled, not knowing to myself the reason why I'm feeling different this time.
"Whatever," I sighed in defeat, "Focus, (Y/N)," I told myself as I went inside the bathroom, seeing it as clean as his cravat, making me chuckle as I thought of him again.
Flicking the switch of the light which seemed not to be working, I sighed out of annoyance and just turned the valves of the bath tub which thankfully worked.
"At least what I needed most works," I mumbled as I started undressing, orderly putting my uniform on a basket near the door.
"It seems that my bath is already set," I giggled, seeing the bathtub now filled with warm water.
"I better make myself feel this relaxation, unlike usual," I sighed in relief as my tensed body felt warm and fuzzy, my head hanging low in the tub, looking straight at the ceiling.
"Tch, it's dirty," Someone from the other side of the door suddenly spoke as I hear shuffled footsteps outside, making my eyebrow twitch a little.
Then suddenly, the door swung open to a disgusted Corporal wearing his Clean Freak outfit, his face now shocked.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I smiled, seeing him quickly close the door.
"What are you doing here?"
"You repeated what I asked you, though I should be the one asking that. What are you doing in my office?"
"..."
"In my room, rather."
"...I'm here to check something out," I heard him answer in a low-toned voice, the door opening slightly, maybe to let me hear his voice.
"Check something out?"
"Yeah, though it's none of your business."
"You're too cold, Corporal," I sarcastically uttered, though what he said still pained me a bit.
But it can't be helped.
Feeling this way's just fine by me...
...as long as I see you're doing just fine.
"Tch. I'm heading out," Levi uttered as I hear light footsteps outside, making me call his name for some reason.
"Let's work according to the plan, okay?"
"Tch. I know, you don't need to tell me that."
"I know...I was just reminding you."
"Well, don't. I don't need it."
My heart sank a hundredth time hearing him tell me indirectly that he didn't need me nor the others, afraid that that day will come.
