抖阴社区

I attacked the shadow beast expecting them to fall one by one, but it wasn't working.

I saw (Y/N) finishing off her enemy when I called to her. "Why isn't it working?" I continued to ward off the shadow creatures trying to attack me.

The wolf dashed to my side. "It's not activated yet, Link. Of course it won't work."

Activation? I continued to try attacking the enemies when (Y/N) started to mumble a few words. Her eyes started to shift from golden to a pure dark black and her crescent moon symbol started to glow. At the same moment, my sword glowed a bright red, flames emitting from the sides. The sword suddenly got heavier but I tightened my grip. I felt something flow through my body...it felt like darkness.

"Link," the wolf said sternly, "You need to learn to fight it."

I tried my best to control myself but I could only feel myself being engulfed by the weapon. My eyes felt heavy and I felt like I longer had control of my body. My arms moved on its own attacking the creatures, but instead of just dying, the creatures turned into some sort of mist. The mist was absorbed by the sword in my hand. Once the battle was over, I instantly fainted.

I felt something extremely wet and cold land onto my face causing me to jerk up suddenly. I saw that Midna had thrown a large amount of water on me with that magic hand of hers.

She laughed hysterically, "About time you woke up," she said. I frowned at her and looked around at my surroundings. We were currently under a large bridge. I then saw (Y/N) in the distance holding the sword in her mouth. She walked towards me and placed the sword next to me.

"You feeling better?" the wolf asked with concern.

I nodded and looked at the now plain sword. Just a couple moments ago, the sword became so intricate as flames lined the blade, but now, it was just any old sword.

"What happened back there?" I asked as I scratched my forehead.

The wolf let out a small sigh, "You were too weak for the sword so it took over. You need to learn to control yourself, Link."

"But how?" I questioned.

"Most people start off with how you just did. They first let the weapon take over and from there, they get used to it and adjust to the weapon. But that can either end with you being successful or you being completely taken over by the weapon."

I groaned to myself, "What have I gotten myself into?"

I held my head in my hands, looking at the grass as my foot kicked away the loose strands when a sudden flash of memories came to mind. The first flashing to the salesman I met back in Castle Town.

"There have been many rumors about the place, but the main one is that the owners were associated with dark magic."

"Dark magic?"

"Yeah, it was such a shame too. The owners were really nice. They had a daughter who would always walk around the plaza and help people just for the heck of it. They really were nice people, but they were accused of dark magic. So apparently they ran away. Some people say that they were killed. Some say that the family escaped to the woods. But now one really knows."

"Do you happen to recall the family's last name?" I asked.

The man scratched his chin, "It was (L/N) I believe."

My thoughts suddenly flashed to Alevina when we first met.

"So what exactly did you want to know about weaponry?"

"Well, I kind of already know about weaponry. But I was wondering if you knew anything about magic infused ones."

"I told you already, over by the bar. Remember? I'm just a regular blacksmith. Not associated with magic or anything of the sort. Why would you think I knew that kind of stuff?"

"I don't know. I just assumed I guess. My senses are telling me there's something about you."

(L/N)...regular blacksmith...Alevina...

"(Y/N)," I said sternly. The wolf looked at me in confusion picking up my tone. "Where did Alevina get this weapon?"

Something about (Y/N)'s golden wolf eyes told me something wasn't right. But the wolf remained calm and collected. "She said she found it down deep in the river. She did some studies and found out that it was a magic infused sword."

I couldn't really say I was buying it. This all seemed to confusing for me. Alevina saying she was a regular blacksmith who knew nothing about dark magic.

"And how exactly did you know how to use the weapon?" I asked the wolf, now suspicious of her.

The wolf remained calm, "Because I've used one before and am a product of one."

"Wait, what?" I said confused, "This is all to much for me to handle. I'm taking a walk."

I walked off into the distance still confused by everything. Everything was all so suspicious now and I had no idea what to think. It looks like I needed to do some serious discovering.
