Walking away from his house didn't feel as good as you had thought it would. Maybe it was because you were confronted with the full moon. Maybe it was because you had heard too many sad stories where people who had not made up after a fight, lost each other in a horrible way. You swallowed. You didn't want to give in, didn't want him to think that it was okay to be jealous at every person who asked for a little bit of your time.
He felt the full moon affecting his body. He tried to focus on everything he could come up with, but for some reason nothing was working. He could see his nails growing into claws. He could feel his sharp teeth piercing his lips. He knew that his eyes were glowing gold. All the full moons before he had thought about you when this had happened, but now he couldn't. Not after what had happened, not after he had seen you walking away without turning back. He howled and in the middle of his howl he saw the front door opening.
"Isaac?" You stared at him and your eyes widened while your mouth dropped. You knew that it was your fault that he looked like this, that he was wolfing out. You had made him angry, you had walked away, you had left him alone during a full moon, the hardest night of the month. "I'm so sorry..." You whispered and walked towards him pressing your hands on his cheeks. "I'm so sorry." You kissed his lips, not caring about his sharp teeth.
"No, I'm sorry..." Isaac wrapped his arms around you and he pressed you tighter to his chest while he was kissing your forehead. "I shouldn't have said all those things to you."
