2016 March Collection

You were trembling and shaking. You had no idea what you had just seen and you were certain that you didn't even want to know. You just hoped that whatever it had been, it would never come back.

"Are you okay?" Allison walked into your bedroom and she leaned against the doorpost. She already knew the answer.

You were far from okay. How could you be okay after something like this? How could you ever be okay again? You shook your head and Allison sat down next to you, her arms resting in her lap while her fingers nervously played with each other.

"I can explain everything, if you want?" She looked up at you, but you swallowed and shook your head.

You didn't want an explanation. You wanted everything but an explanation. "Can you please just hold me?" You turned your face towards her and she smiled before she wrapped her arms around your trembling body.

"I'm never letting you go, I promise." She rocked you in her arms and you felt a soft kiss on your hair. When she had said this morning that today would be special, you had not expected it to end like this. "I'm sorry that our perfect day was ruined. I wish I could make it up to you." Allison kept on holding you and kept on rocking you. Her voice was barely a whisper.

"You can..." You spoke softly and you swallowed. You didn't want Allison to see you cry, but you had to fight the tears. "I just want a kiss. Just one kiss." You bent your head and Allison brushed your hair from your face.

"I can do that." She leaned in and she pressed her soft lips on yours. Her hand rubbed your back and you wrapped your arms around her neck, wishing that the world would always stay like this.
