Could it be?

Sage PoV

As soon as they were out of site I plopped down on the stone bench. I sighed and took a deep breath. I knew. I just knew, something bad was going to happen.  I'm worried for my joy. She truly is my joy in life. Little does she know. She saved my life. I was about to end it all the next day, when a guard named Susan brought me to the palace. I met Allison and I felt happy for the first time in years. Allison was, no IS, so nice to me. She cares for me. And I may or may not have a slight interest in her. I felt so ecstatic when I woke up with her arm wrapped around me. I doubt she had even realized she had done that. But to me it felt so special. Knowing that I had people who cared for me. I felt like a princess, the way I was being treated, how nice people are to me. When I was on the streets most just overlooked me. Or just didn't care to bother with me. 

I heard a shriek and got snapped out of my daze. It was Ali! No no no no no no! What had he done to her.   I was running toward my precious rose when I saw Blake beating her. I froze in my tracks. Not even a second later he looked at me. You could see the fire growing in his eyes. He was angry. I could only guess what I looked like. Probably an angry bull. The way he started to tense and back away told me I was indeed frightening. 

"OH NO YOU DON'T MISTER!"   I couldn't keep myself from yelling at him for hurting my angel. He started to run in the opposite direction and I ran after him. I ran into what felt like a million branches and got cut by a thousand thorns. But me getting hurt was the matter. What was, was he hurt my angel. And I need to get him for it.

After running for what felt like forever I finally came close enough for me to tackle him. I jumped on his back sending him towards the ground. I then couldn't restrain myself. I really bloodied him up then. I punched and kicked. I don't remember what I did to him other than gave him what he deserved for hurting my delicate flower. Not long after sending him towards the ground and hitting him he was unconscious. I stood up off of him grabbed him by the arms and dragged him towards the palace.

I was surprised how close the palace was. I guess when angry and chasing someone it makes it feel longer.    When I reached the gardens I saw my angel sitting among the flowers making a flower crown. I dragged Blake up towards her and dropped his hand letting him fall and hit the  grass.  "I took care of this for you." 

"Oh My goodness Sage! I-Is he dead?"

"What? No!" I laughed " I knocked him out we might want to get some guards before we just let him go."

"O-Ok"   Was it just me or was Ali blushing? 

I left towards the doors and got the guards right outside the door. When they came outside they looked at me standing next to an unconscious body. Yep nothing looks wrong about that. 

The guard on the left pointed at me then Blake then back to me. He was opening his mouth like deciding what to say the closing it again. The look he gave me reminded me of a fish. Before he said anything I started to speak up. 

"Yes I did this to him. You see, I was by the fountain when him and Princess Allison were back here. I heard her shriek and came to help. When I got back here I saw him hitting her. I was angry so I ran after him, and, well. Here he is." 

What happened next surprised me. They started clapping. Ali came up to me and hugged me. The guards asked how I learned to knock out such a man being this small. I simply said "Well you haven't lived on the streets most your life. When out there you learn how to defend yourself. And now that I don't have too. I used it to defend the princess."

Allison's PoV

I was hesitant to follow Blake and just leave Sage all alone. She came up to me and whispered. She said how she didn't trust this guy. And neither did I.  I obliged and followed him into the depth of the garden. I was busy looking towards the orchids when I hear my name being called. I looked over to find Blake down on one knee. No no no! He can't propose. I don't love him. I don't think of him as a significant other. 

"Allison You make me so happy. I want to make you happy too. So will you do me the honer of making me the happiest man alive and help you to become the happiest woman,and marry me?"

"Oh Blake. I'm so sorry. I can't accept. I don't like you in that way. I think of you mare as a brother. I can't marry you. My heart belongs to someone else."

I don't remember much after that. He started to beat me. I yelled and shrieked. Not long after my first yelp for help, Sage came up. She was filled with rage. You could see it in her eyes. I really wanted to kiss her. As soon as Sage arrived to the scene, Blake stopped and looked at her. He slowly got off of me and started to back away shoulders tensing and eyes filling with fear.  Sage looked like a angry bull about to attack. Blake was stupid enough to think that running would help the situation. It didn't let me tell you that. Sag ran after him deeper into the woods. I stood up about to run after Sage when I collapsed. I couldn't stand. So I yelled.   I yelled for Sage to come back. To let the guards get him. But she didn't care I didn't want my jewel getting hurt by that terrible person. 

I know I felt worried for Sage but the next thing I heard, I was proud. Man as soon as she gets back I'm kissing her.   I heard a thump sound, followed by grunts from Blake and yelling from Sage. I knew she was kicking his ass. I was so proud for my beautiful jewel. As soon as I heard all the noise and knew everything would be ok. I crawled over to the flowers and started to make a flower crown. I would give it to Sage. No more than 5 minutes later I see Sage dragging Blake back. He wasn't moving. 

"Oh My goodness Sage! I-Is he dead?"

"What? No!" she laughed  " I knocked him out we might want to get some guards before we just let him go."

"O-Ok"  I felt myself blush. I was thinking about running up to her and kissing her so much she couldn't breathe.  

She left for the door and two guards came back. They were dumbfounded. Mouths hung agape. I guess they were surprised Sage could do that to a full size man.  

They started asking questions abut how she did it and such while I just continued to make my flower crown.

They took him into a cell we have underground somewhere in the palace. I was exhausted. I was sent to the hospital wing to get checked out. Not long after Sage came to check on me. I was on the verge of falling asleep, so my responses probably didn't make any sense.  The last thing I remember was asking Sage to get closer to me. I remember placing the flower crown on her head and whispering. "For my princess." Then kissed her on the cheek. As soon as I did that I leaned back and immediately fell asleep.
