Could it be?

"Allison, why do you want to show Sage how we work in the office?"

"Because I am pretty sure I love her. And I want to marry her when we get of age."

"Well, you made a big jump there.  Look I don't mind you dating her and all. But what if you and she break up? Then she knows all the stuff about the palace and our county and such. We can't afford for her to give away all of out information."

"Mom. I am 100 percent sure she wouldn't give away our information. And when I marry her, she will have to work with us anyways. So she should learn with me. She has already mastered most other things. I have watched her, and seen how she watched me. She copied me. She sits, stands, and walks with perfect posture. She knows how to keep her hands. And she can be stern when she needs to."

"I will see. I want to watch her and make sure before you teach her anything. But right now I do need you in the office. Can I send her to your fathers? So he can talk with her?"

"Can I take her she is still new to the environment. Also, don't want her scared of Father."

"Of course honey. I will walk with you, though."

"Ok, Mom."

We walked back into the office to find Sage talking to the guard. I laughed as I saw her. Instantly, both Sage and the guard stopped talking and stood up straighter. Looking back at us with the guard starting back into space.

"Sage, I have to work with my mom. Sadly you can't stay with me in here. But you soon will be able to, I promise.  You will have to go talk to my father then I'm not sure what he will do. But he knows you are dear to me so he shouldn't do anything too horrid. Ah, who am I kidding he will probably love you!"

"Ok! I guess that's fine."

"Allison and I will walk you down there." I nodded towards Sage. And she looked in between me and my mother then nodded.

"Ok let's go."

I walked over to Sage and held out my elbow for her to grab onto. She happily accepted and we walked past my mother who smiled at us then followed behind us, on out way to Father's office.

~Sage~

I was a little scared about seeing Ali's dad. I haven't seen him much. He seems like a good person, though. I was holding onto Allison's arm while we were walking to King Andrew. I think she felt me tense as we neared his office, because she pulled me to the side, kissed me, and whispered that it would be ok. Her father is a nice man. 

After she pulled me to the side, she brought me back into the main hall. We continued to walk. Once we finally got there, the guards opened the doors for us and all three of us walked in. When king Andrew looked up at us his face grew into a smile.

"Why hello there! How can I help you, ladies, today?" 

"Hello, Father.  I wanted to see is Sage could stay here in the office with you. I wanted to let her learn things in my office. But we need just a tad bit more time before."

"Of course she can stay!  You can pull up a chair or sit at the table over there." He pointed over to the table sitting in the corner. I made my way over to the table and almost immediately, a guard gave me a glass of water and asked if I needed anything.  "She's safe in my hands!"

As Allison and the queen made their way to the door, king Andrew followed them outside. I could hear the faint mumbles of all three of them talking. And after a few minutes king, Andrew came back in smiling. I stood up and went to curtsy when he laughed. I looked up at him in confusion. 

"You don't have to do that. We're practically family now!" 

I looked at him my head tilted to the side and he laughed once more.

"Come here and talk with me. I think you'll like this talk." He was still giving a light chuckle as I made my way over to his desk taking a chair with me.
