Could it be?

I made my way back to Allisons room. All I could think about was how nice the king was. You can't really hide anything in this palace. He knew about most maids and butlers that were dating. He knew about Allison and me.  But I'm ok with that. If everyone sees us that's fine because I want the whole world to know how much I love this girl. 

Once I got to her room I heard talking inside. I put my ear against the door and listened. 

"That's great! I would wait as long as I had to, to marry her. Not matter how long the wait!" I heard Allison say.  Laughing, from the queen. 

"Well, Honey, we have a selection of rings for you to chose from. When you're ready to tell us. We can have the ring made especially for her size. Then I will tell you when I and your father agree on letting you get married."  Was I getting married?

I heard a quick and muffled goodbye, so I ran to the other side of the hall to make it look like I wasn't listening on their conversation and I'm just walking to our room. 

"Oh hello Sage" She greeted as I was a few feet from the door. 

"Hello Miss" I curtsied and responded. 

"Now honey. I told you, you don't have to be formal with us. You're family now." And with that, she walked away.

I walked in our room to be greeted by Ali hugging me. 

"I  was so worried for you. How did it go? What did you two do?"  

"I don't know why you were so worried. He is really nice. I feel as if he treated me like he would you. We talked mostly. He showed me how to do things. But mostly we gossiped."

"Oh yeah. He loves to gossip. But only with people he trusts. He has only done it with immediate family. SO no cousins or aunts, uncles. No one. Most wouldn't expect it when he is the ruler of a country."

"I can tell you I didn't expect it" I laughed

We walked over to the bed and she flopped down while I laughed. "I'm going to change then come in here with you" I said as I headed off to the bathroom. 

After I changed and I laid down in bed next to her. All I could think about was what her and the queen were talking about. Does that mean that I'm getting married soon? Does it mean she is getting married to a prince soon? I doubt it. She hasn't had any interest at all in any male. 

I watched as she slowly fell asleep. "Goodnight darling" She mumbles right before she fully fell asleep. As soon as I started to drift off, I heard screaming in the hall. 

A/N: Sorry for short chapter I don' have many ideas. I may be ending his book soon.  Also my computer is messed up so it takes me longer to write.
