Five Years Later

You bounded up the staircase in a rush to reach the top and ran down the hallway with supernatural speed. You barged into a bedroom on the edge of the floor and rushed over to the bed, but couldn't help but smile widely at the sight of the newly teen boy asleep in his bed. You sat on the edge and put your hand on his shoulder, slightly shaking him.

"Damien," you said gently.

"(Y/N)?" he mumbled in return, slowly peeling open his eyelids to reveal the bright red orbs that matched your own.

"Yeah, honey. The carriage is ready to take you to school, so get ready," you directed, standing up.

"Ugh," Damien groaned and threw off his covers, using his demon powers to get dressed in his school uniform and sling his backpack over his shoulder.

In truth, almost four years ago, Sebastian turned you into a demon the same as himself. It was like a marriage proposal/wedding in the demon world and you graciously accepted on the grounds that Sebastian also accepted Damien into his life. Damien had mere months to live by the time you turned him into a demon after explaining the worlds to him and how demons and angels worked. You adopted him and now the three of you lived together as a trio of demons masking as humans.

Fortunately, Damien continued to age but Sebastian informed you it would end once he turned eighteen in humans years, so he wouldn't be a sick nine-year-old forever now that his medical problems were "miraculously" cured. He was currently at the same age as Ciel was when you met him.

You walked with Damien down the staircases and to the door, but before you could say goodbye, Damien stopped you.

"(Y/N)?"

"Yes, dear?" you replied, grinning.

"Is it okay if I start calling you and Sebastian Mom and Dad?" he asked nervously.

Your features softened and you brushed back his bright blond hair with your fingertips. "Of course. You are my son, after all," you said.

Damien hugged you and you kissed his forehead, then he rushed off to the carriage. Ruth was waiting for him and made it a point to always accompany him to school despite her deteriorating health.

You closed the door and went in search of Sebastian, finding him in the music room playing the piano. You sat next to him on ghe bench and he finished his composition, resting his palm on your thigh.

"I heard what Damien said," Sebastian reveals.

"And?"

"I'm surprised he didn't ask sooner," Sebastian teases. "I've been his father for such a long time already, well, for humans. It was bound to happen eventually."

You smiled and kissed Sebastian fervently. "Are we going to make another one of him maybe? Say, very soon?"

"Demon children that are born demons are very temperamental, I must warn you. Damien has always been, dare I say, and angel."

You shrugged. "It's okay. I want a little Sebastian."

Just as you finished saying that, there was a knock on the door. You both rose from your seat and walked through the house until arriving at the oak doors and opened one to reveal Ciel and Piper Phantomhive. You beckoned them inside and shared greetings as you usually did.

The two got married when they turned eighteen, which was no surprise to you. You always saw the chemistry between them even if society didn't. Sebastian confirmed long ago that Ciel had talked about Piper ever since meeting her all those years ago. Now Piper was three months pregnant with their first child.

Ciel broke things off with Lady Elizabeth when he and Piper went on their first date and hit it off, but Elizabeth ended up with another Nobel who she clearly fancied infinitely more.

"You're as beautiful as ever," you complimented Piper.

"Says you who is going to be youthful for eternity with a sexy husband," she responded bluntly.

"Husband is standing right here," Ciel reminded.

Piper waved him off and hugged Sebastian as you hugged Ciel. You led everyone to the foyer for morning tea and enjoyed the peacefulness that came with it. It was rare for you or Ciel to get a day off with your busy schedules, so this was a blessed opportunity.

The four of you laughed and joked about memories that had long been forgotten, but you cherished these times like no other. You never knew when it would all end, so these were moments that you held onto.

Your journey to this point has been a long one, but you wouldn't trade the experience for anything. You met your mate, saved thousands of lives, and got your happily ever happy. The only thing you want now is to live in harmony with your friends and Sebastian Michaelis right there with you.
