"And on top of all of that, you're the freaking Batman. Do you know how cool that is? I am the freaking Batman's daughter. Robin is my little brother. I mean I wish he wasn't because he is way too cute to be about there getting into what he does but come on. That is that coolest thing ever,"

"I don't believe I've ever been flattered like this before," he genuinely smiled at me.

"You should be flattered. You should always be proud of who you are. Not just as the Batman but as Bruce Wayne. You mean a lot more to people than just the playboy billionaire who has a bunch of kids," he laughed. Bruce Wayne just laughed at something I said. Now I know, I am freaking adorable.

"You just continue to amaze me," he said pulling in front of a building. "Your mother told me you were amazing. She told me about this incident a few months before you graduated,"

"The four guys that tried to rob us?" he nodded. "I told her not to tell people that story,"

"She was just really proud of you. She did say you were a handful at times but that it couldn't be helped. She said you always followed your heart no matter how hard the decision was," I climbed out of the car. More like struggled because it's such a low car and I'm not exactly a little person.

"Because she taught me that way," I said following him inside the shop.

I looked around to see that the place is covered in Batman and Robin decorations. The place is literally called The Night Spoon and it's only open at night. From six pm to until two am. No wonder Damian likes this place. The biggest poster on the wall is an article about him saving an animal shelter that had been burned down last year. I pointed at it.

"Uh- huh," was all Bruce said handing me an empty cup. "How this works is, you choose your preference of yogurt and then you add whatever you want from the toppings cart,"

"Cool," I said looking at the labels describing the flavors.

I went with Gotham's Famous Cheesecake flavored yogurt. There isn't any strawberry. Once I got to the cart I topped it off with almonds and fresh strawberries. Bruce got plain yogurt and a variety of fruits. While he was paying I slipped a strip into the yogurt. Once I was sure my treat was edible, we sat down.

"You don't seem to mind the attention," he said referring to all the eyes on us.

"My mom was a well-known event planner. Lots of people knew her and me by default. She also went out with Lex Luthor for a while,"

"Lex Luthor is a sociopath," he whispered disapprovingly.

"She also had a kid with you. So, what does that tell us?" I asked taking a strawberry in my mouth.

"That she was trouble," he smirked. That made me laugh. That's for damn sure.

"I didn't even know she knew you," I said after a while. He nodded looking me over.

"She knew how to keep a secret," That is the understatement of the century, Bruce.

"I met you a few times before," he nodded.

"I remember you. Always, you look a lot like my mother. Your features, I mean. Like when you look up without actually lifting your head. She used to give me that look when I did something I wasn't supposed to be doing,"

"Do you miss her?" his face changed. The emotion drained from his entire demeanor and he had to look away. "Don't answer that. It was a dumb question,"

"Finish that," he said getting up tossing his empty cup away. I felt bad for asking. That was a stupid question. I'm an idiot.

"There are no words to describe it," he said once we were in the car and away from everyone.
