Pulling My Strings 〆『Law x Reader』

After "training" with Zoro I hung out with Luffy a little longer. By 'hung out' I mean I watched him try to catch a beetle that kept flying around.

I absolutely hate bugs and will do anything to stay as far away from them as I can. "Luffy! Would you just kill it already!" I screamed at my brother.

"I wanna catch it!" Luffy yelled unconsciously with drool dripping from his mouth. I visibly showed disgust, but the action caused my lips to twitch up.

I used every fiber of my will not to give in to my emotions, but they got the better of me. "You're the same as always." I said quietly to myself, watching with a sprout of happiness in my stomach.

Luffy stopped and looked at me. "UWOAAH!! F/N YOU'RE SMILING AGAIN!" he screamed in excitement.

I chuckled before looking away, "Yeah, don't get used to it." I said. My whole body ached from the fight from a few days ago, and since I just healed Zoro my energy level has dropped.

A yawn escaped my throat, I put my hand over my mouth politely. "F/N~San! I have prepared a wonderful salad for you!" Sanji announced while stalking over to me with hearts in his eyes.

My thighs were stuck to the wood of the railing, I looked up from the water and to Sanji, I kinda have a problem of being picky, but my favorite food would have to be chicken and salads.

It's been so long since I've had a proper meal that I jumped at him. I grabbed the salad, "Thank you, Sanji. I haven't eaten a good meal in forever and I happen to love salads." I thanked him with a small grin on my face.

"Your smile is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!" Sanji complimented with blood dripping from his nose. I smiled even wider, of course against my will. My cheeks burned from not smiling in so long.

"Thank you, and you're very polite." I complimented back, not really knowing what else to say. He sighed in delight before blowing back and passing out with a nose bleed.

I puffed a laugh, "Does that always happen?" I asked nobody in particular. A pair of arms grabbed my shoulder from behind. I was surprised I didn't sense them.

"Trafalgar?" I asked while turning to look at him, "How were you so stealthy?" I asked to myself, he smirked and took his hands off of me.

"I used shambles, you wouldn't be able to sense me anyways." he explained in short. I nodded and walked away, not expecting the conversation to continue.

Law abruptly appeared in front of me, I stumbled back, almost dropping my salad. "Could you not?" I hissed while walking around him.

I sat down on the stairs and looked around, not seeing Law. I sighed before shoving a mouthful of lettuce into my mouth.

I almost screamed when Law whispered in my ear from behind me, "What're you eating?" I choked on my food and quickly swallowed it, looking back at Law as he sat on the step just above me.

"You obviously see what it is so why ask?" I said. When people ask what you are eating when they obviously see what it is annoys me.

"Moody," Law commented with a smirk. I sent him a glare and continued to eat my salad. We sat in awkward silence as I ate, not really wanting to talk.

After finishing I set the bowl on the step. "Now what do you really want?" I asked and turned to him, now on my feet.

"Just seeing how my new crew mate is doing." he said in defense. I adjusted my skirt and responded, "Well I'm alive,"
