Pulling My Strings 〆『Law x Reader』

F/N's P.O.V.

Chopper and Usopp had gotten lost while chasing some bug. That was why we were left in the rain. Sanji almost killed them after hearing about it.

They had apologized over and over again, though I kept saying it was fine they still insisted on doing whatever me and Law said.

     "Ahh!" Chopper groaned, "I wasn't able to find the Rehmannia root!" The little reindeer whined.

He was sorting through all of the herbs he was able to collect, along with the damp ones I had been able to muster up from the rain.

"About that. . ." I said quietly, looking away and putting my finger to my lip. "I may have a present or two for you," I smirked at him.

Chopper gasped as he swirled to me on his stool, his face lit up with a grin. "You didn't—!" Just as he said it I pulled the Rehmannia out of my traveling satchel.

He jumped to me in excitement and clung to my midsection. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!" Chopper exclaimed as he wiggled his legs in excitement and let go of me.

     He grabbed the root and grinned widely, "Where did you find it?" Chopper asked as he set the roots down on his desk. I reached down into my satchel to grab the other herbs I was able to find.

     "On my way down from the mountain, I came across them by a creek. We must have missed it the first time we passed it," I told him with a small smile, satisfied that he liked his present.

     I pulled out a bundle of rosemary and brought it to my nose, taking a deep breath to fill my lunges with its light scent. "I was also able to snag these," I set the spike-like plant onto his desk.

     "You're the best, F/N!" Chopper giggled in excitement as he was already grinding up some of the plants.

     I nodded, "I'll be off then. Come get me if you need any help." With that I waved and slipped out of his office.

     "I still have a head cold," I groaned as I shuffled down the hallways and out onto the Sunny's deck.

     "Oi!!! F/N!" I heard Luffy yell from somewhere. I looked around to try and find him, but stumbled back as he abruptly landed in front of me.

     "Did you give Chopper that plant thingy?" Luffy asked with a grin, swinging back and firth on his heels.

"Yeah I did. He seems happy too. Try not to bother him, okay?" I said with a smile, patting him on the head as I strode by.

"Okie dokey!" he saluted cutely and hopped away towards Franky and Usopp.

I sighed before turned to where Nami and Robin were laying out on chairs, trying to tan. It made me feel jealous in a way, the sun never gave me a tan, only red burns that made my skin peel.

Nami noticed me staring and pointed to the chair next to her with a smile, "Care to join us?" she asked with a giggle, bitting the end of the straw in her drink.

"Sure," I slid into the seat next to her and leaned back. You could classify it as a lawn chair, I suppose.

"Sanji! Could you make F/N a drink!" Nami yelled over to the yellow haired cook with a grin on her face.

"Yes Nami~san!" Sanji swooned before slipping into the kitchen with hearts in his eyes.

"Thanks." I said quietly, fidgeting with my fingers. My mind was wandering back to the warm feelings I got around Law. I wanted to ask Nami and Robin about it, but I didn't think I would have to so soon.
