Pulling My Strings 〆『Law x Reader』

     Law's P.O.V.

     I watched F/N closely through the corner of my eye. It grew more difficult as the crowd got thicker and thicker.

     "F/N~Chan disappeared!" Bepo exclaimed as he turned on the bar stool and pointed across the way.

      I followed Bepo's point and saw a shadow slide away in an alleyway. "We move out now." I ordered as I stood up and weaved myself into the crowd with the others close behind me.

     Making sure not to make noise, I used shambles to get closer. He carried F/N over his shoulder.

     He was lean and tall with a nest of brown hair above his brows. "Captain, what do we do now?!" Bepo asked in a whisper.

     I squinted as the man looked around, making sure no one was around. I ducked behind the corner of a building and peeked over as I watched him.

     The man pushed a open a dumpster's hatch and hopped in, closing it behind him. The ally had one dumpster and cargo boxes around it.

    Now that he recognized it, there were dumpsters in almost every alleyway. "That must be where they enter their secret tunnels." Sachi stated.

    "I seems so." I said before stalking over to the secret entrance.

F/N's P.O.V.

   My head pulsed with each beat of my heart. I groaned before slipping my eyes open to behold what was before me.

    "We've done it now boss! This is Sinner! Her bounty is in the 200 millions!" A boy exclaimed as he pointed to me.

    I glared up to him and he turned to me, realizing I was awake. His eyes widened when he saw me.

     "W-Wha- That stuff was supposed to keep her out for hours!" he said to someone that was behind him.

      I suddenly became aware of what was happening. There was pinching pain on my wrists, making me look up.

     My wrists were locked up in cuffs and a thick box of metal trapped my hands from movement. I flexed my fingers, but they were bolted down by something inside the cuffs.

     Adding on to that, the cuffs were attached to the ceiling, leaving me exposed with my arms in the air.

     "Yes, it would've lasted that long on a normal human. But that is not what we are dealing with here." A woman's voice said from the cover of the dark.

     My eyes turned red in anger, and it took every fiber of my being not to wrench these cuffs off and rip them to shreds. Though as my temper rose my energy started to drain, sea stone.

     "Show yourself," I ordered with fake authority, glaring towards where the voice came from. A low and wicked chuckle was heard and the boy moved to the side as a woman walked into the torch light.

     She was beautiful, with a hint of crows feet at the crease of her eyes. Her skins was pale as could be and her hair was white as snow. She wore a long red robe with fur rimming the bottom.

     "Hello, young one. I am Lady Yoon, leader of the Carp this Diem group." Yoon stated with a smirk, showing off her smile lines. She seemed to be around forty.

     I glared at her without answering, "I realize how strong you are. That's why you are so valuable." Her face became sinister. "You'll go for a wonderful price."

     Price? "What are you talking about?" I asked, keeping a stoic expression even though my heart beat sped up. Where was Law?

    "I'm surprised no one realized what we've been doing to those beautiful gems." Yoon thought out loud to herself.
