"It's a little funny," she shrugged. "Come on, let's go fix this,"
"How?"
"We'll figure it out with the guys. Come on,"
We walked out and sat with the boys while Thea tried really hard not to laugh. Jason kept playing with the ring on his finger. I tried to pinpoint how this could have happened. What either of us could have said to do something so stupid but came up with nothing. There was no memory of this in my head.
"Jay, can I talk to you for a second?" I asked needing to probe his brain for answers.
"Ilya, just tell him," Thea said looking at him.
"Tell me what?" he asked. The three of them looked back at me. "Please tell me we didn't break into a jewelry store,"
"No, these are legit paid for," I said showing him the receipts.
"Why the hell did we buy these?"
I placed the marriage license and the signed certificate in the center of the table. He reached for them and then jumped back looking at me with the same expression I had when I was in the restroom. Roy looked at what he was holding and burst out laughing.
"Are those real?" Roy asked looking at me.
"Yes," Thea laughed with him.
"Bruce is going to kill us," Jason whispered.
"There you two are," Jason shoved the paperwork in his shirt as Bruce and Oliver walked over to us.
"That's not suspicious at all," Oliver laughed. We both slipped the rings off our fingers and put them in our pockets.
"What did you two do last night?" Bruce asked.
"Nothing," we both said at the same time making Thea and Roy laugh harder.
"Okay, what's going on? What did you two do?" Bruce asked looking between us.
"They got hammered," Roy laughed.
"You got my underaged daughter drunk?" Bruce asked looking at Jason.
"When you say it like that it makes me sound like I'm seventeen. I'm twenty. It's hardly a crime," I said sitting down.
"Besides, we were all pretty drunk," Roy added.
"Not that drunk," Thea laughed.
"Shut up, Thea," I groaned. "This is somehow your fault,"
"Me?" she laughed. "You're welcome,"
"Are you two okay? Did something happen?" Bruce pressed.
"No," we both said at the same time.
"Foods, here," Roy said. "Jay, sit over here. Next to your Princess,"
"I will end your life," Jason whispered harshly but took the seat next to me anyway.
"Mind if we join you?" Oliver asked.
"Of course not," Thea said scooting closer to me. Roy took the seat to her right. Oliver sat next to Roy and Bruce sat between Jason and Oliver. They ordered. Shortly after Dick walked in with Felicity and McKenna.
"Good morning," they greeted us sitting down. We all grunted a hello as we started eating.
"Okay, what's going on?" Bruce said.
"We only made out once," Felicity shouted.
"Subtle," Dick smirked. Everyone turned their attention to her forgetting me and Jason for an instant.
