"A watering hole. . ." I said quietly, admiring the beautiful view in front of me. I also heard Chopper cry in relief as he immediately jumped into the cooled water.

"Rejoice!" Usopp yelled as he jumped in after him, discarding his bag and shirt.

The watering hole was the size of a ship, big enough to be considered a small lake. What took me by surprise the most was a tall waterfall that crashed down into the water.

"Let's rest here for a while," I said while slipping off my combat shoes, which I had forced myself to wear because of the insects and sharp roots littering the path.

Law groaned in response, collapsing next to the water. "I'll go fill your flask," I offered, sticking my hand out for him to hand me his empty drink container.

He handed his flask to me, saying a small thank you. I walked over to the water, having the jump down a small catering ledge.

Dumping both me and Law's flask into the water, I waited for the bubbles to stop before pulling them out.

I shut Law's flask before chucking it to him.

"You guys should come in here! The water's so cold and refreshing!" Chopper said in excitement.

"No can do doc," I said with a salute. "I don't know what's in there. So I'll pass, for now, thanks anyways though."

"Suit yourself!" Usopp hollered over, followed with a splash in Chopper's direction.

I heard Law sigh next to me, "Those idiots." He scowled at them as I walked back over and sat down next to him.

We sat in comfortable silence as we looked around the watering hole. "What do you think is at the top of the waterfall?" I asked him.

"Probably a river," Law responded half-heartedly, shifted his hat over his eyes. I hummed in response as I leaned back and relaxed in the cool shade.

I must have dozed off because when I woke up it was down pouring and thunder echoed around the mountain range. With difficulty, I sat forward in my soaked clothes.

My wet shirt stuck to my skin uncomfortably, and I pulled it off only to make an air bubble that slowly sucked onto my skin again.

I looked to my right and found Law still asleep, only he was soaked just as much as me. "Trafalgar, wake up." I shook his shoulders, making his hat fall off his head.

Realization hit me as I looked at his blood flushed face. I cursed and went to grab my jacket out of my bag. It wouldn't fit him so I slid it on.

I looked at Law with worry, he was breathing heavily and had a pained expression on his face. Probably from being left in the cold for so long.

With a groan, I slid his arm over my shoulder and hauled him onto my back. He was too heavy for me to carry him for too long, so I'd have to find shelter too.

Abandoning his bag, I tied mine to my wrist since it was just a small satchel. I trudged through the thick mud, trying my best not to slip.

I yelped as my food slid across the thick mud, and I felt a sharp pain as my ankle twisted in an odd direction.

Biting through the pain, I moved towards the waterfall. It splashed harsher and louder from the river filling up due to the rain. If there's a waterfall I'm sure there must be a cave behind it.

"Where the hell are Chopper and Usopp?" I peered around as I made my way to the cave. "Idiots probably got lost in the rain."

I shuddered at Law's hot breath that grazed the hairs on my neck. I took a deep breath and sprinted towards the waterfall, and with a shout of frustration, I hopped through the rushing water and into the cave within.
