I felt a small hand on my shoulder. There was no dark aura, but there was an aura, I could feel... Something. Something powerful, but I didn't know what it was.
"Lucia?" A small voice whispered.
Ari.
I opened my eyes, sitting up. I pulled the curtains of the four-poster bed aside, looking out at the white dreamscape. Ari looked up at me, her eyes watering.
"Ari, what's wrong?" Then before I could do anything I was launched into her dream, seeing everything she'd seen, hearing everything she'd heard.
When the memory ended, I looked at her wide-eyed face. "She's just leading us on! What if we never find her?"
I laughed gently. "Oh, she may lead you on for a while, but don't fear. She loves showing off, so it's highly likely that she is in fact sending you the right way. Just keep going, you will find her. I promise."
She nodded and waved. "Thank you." Then she ran off, opening an invisible door, and headed back into her dreamscape.

The girls left the hotel early in the morning, stumbling down the dark streets. They heard a noise, almost like someone calling to them. Seeing no one, they continued down the street. Again, they heard a sound.
"Psst. Over here, in the cell."
"Oh, it's you."
"Oh, it's you." Adol mocked Nam in a high pitched voice. She shot her hand out, water flying through the bars of the window, wrapping around his neck. She lifted him into the air, bringing his face right up next to the poles. A smirk spread over her face.
"I had no idea that I could do that. Now, shut your mouth before I unleash more power I don't know how to control." He nodded, and she dropped him to the ground. Adol rubbed his neck, taking deep breaths like he would never breathe again.
"Why did you call us?" Fly wrapped her hand so hard around the metal bar that all the blood left it and it turned white. When she pulled her hand away, vines crawled up the bar.
"To help you. For a price."
"No thanks," and they turned to walk away.
"Okay, okay! Just, if you defeat Nerezza, which you won't, but if you do, promise me you'll spare me."
"Deal."
"Okay. So, when you go to Deephenge, go to the bar. You can't miss it, it's in the middle of town, it's got a bar, dance floor, card games like poker, uh, and there's poker machines. She's waiting in there."
"She?"
"Nerezza."
"Oh wow! We just found Nerezza!"
"I told you where she was!"
"Yeah yeah. Thanks. Oh, and Adol."
"Yeah?"
"We would have spared you anyway."
