Ari was alone. Her eyes were closed. The tears had stopped streaming long ago. She was in her dreamscape. She had locked all the doors. She was alone.
"What do you want Nerezza!? Why are you doing this!? Why me!?" She looked down at her Ringette. It was starting to glow.
"How do you not know what I want?" Nerezza's voice was cool and calm, yet laced with poison.
"What do you want?"
Nerezza laughed. "What have I been doing this whole time?"
"Hmm... Let me think about that one. This whole time, you've been... Aah. You've been guiding us, giving us stronger and stronger opponents so that we can reach our Elementor phases, and you've told me about this immense power that I possess." As she said 'power' she lashed put with her mind, repetitively hitting Nerezza's mind. The goddess of darkness backed up, her hands to her head. She screamed in pain, falling to her knees.
"Give me a break airhead! Your psychic abilities are stronger than mine!"
"You have psychic abilities?"
"Yeah. Like this!" She stabbed at Ari, who riled in pain. An inhuman, guttural scream escaped from her throat. She threw herself at Nerezza, fists pounding the pale skin, mind stabbing the dark aura. She screamed as she beat the woman to the ground.
A sudden surge ran through her, and she screamed as she realised what was going on. "What the hell am I doing!?" She stood still, staring at the woman who lay on the ground. Blood ran from her nose and lip, and dark bruises stained her pale white skin.
Nerezza laughed. "If you cannot fight me here, how can you hope to defeat me in reality?" She laughed again, her voice croaky. Ari screamed and fell to her knees, crying. A blast of purple aura shot out, making Nerezza vanishing and colouring the dreamscape a lilac colour.
Her Ringette glowed again. "You stupid piece of ore! What have you ever done for me?" She ripped it off, then a rush went through her. Her eyes lit up, purple shining out from within the grey. Her body began to glow, and she screamed as energy ran through her. She pulled the Ringette back on, and the rush stopped. One, two, three deep breaths, then she fell into unconsciousness.
