Nam and Ana watched as the black fire died away, then landed on the ground, changing back into their normal selves.
"So, we have to go to... Where is it?"
"Erimarsh, I do believe."
"Thank you Lucia. So, we have to win the singing competition?"
"Yes."
"And it starts tomorrow?"
"I would get going if I were you." They ran to their hotel room as fast as possible and dashed up the stairs, not risking the elevator. They basically knocked the door in and changed quickly into some more casual clothing: sweatpants, t-shirts, socks, sneakers and jumpers. Then they shoved everything else into their bags and made their way calmly downstairs.
"Please, I need a room!" A girl was pleading for a place to stay.
"I'm sorry, miss, but we don't have any available rooms."
"Here," Fly tossed her room key over the front desk. "We're leaving early."
"Do you want your money back?"
"Keep it."

"Fly?" They had been on the ground for a while, and Ari was the first to speak up.
"Yes?"
"Where did you get all that money?" Fly's eyes went wide, and she stopped her horse dead in its tracks. Then she shook her head and kept walking. A tear fell from the corner of her eye, hitting her horse's saddle.
"My parents left it to me." She whispered. "They left it to me, to take out of the bank when I turned 18."
"Fly, I'm sorry."
"It's okay." I had a feeling that I shouldn't talk to Fly for a while.
They trekked through the night, and as the sun rose, they reached the town.
As they had before, they hid their horses in a 'stable' and closed off the entrance.
After a few hours of sitting around and having little naps, they heard a voice boom out "final sign up for the singing competition!" Nam rushed forward to the man.
"How many... Places do you... Have left?" Her breaths were ragged as she gasped for air, the other girls coming up behind her.
"One spot. Who's it gonna be?"
Nam, Fly and Ana looked at Ari. "No!" She cried. "No, I can't sing!"
"You sang beautifully in the dreamsc... Before. You sang beautifully before."
"Okay. I'll give it my best."
"What should I write down?"
"Ari. My name's Ari."
"Competition starts at three. You're number fifty of fifty." Then he walked off.
"So, what do you want to do till three?"
"Sleep."

"I can't do this!!!" Ari was practically screaming as she stood beside the stage.
"You'll be fine! Look, I'll cheer you on with my element!"
"Me too."
"Me three."
"No! One, what if someone spots you? Two, it makes me feel awful when you guys are using your elements and I'm stuck there doing nothing."
"Okay, well I guess we'll just be normal."
"You guys haven't been normal for years."
"Number 50, Ari!"
"Knock 'em dead!" Then the girls ran out to cheer for her as Ari stepped onto the stage.
