抖阴社区

I quickly sat with my legs crossed and pulled the blankets over my mid-rift. "I'm sorry. I tend to be in a state of..." I sucked in my lips to look for the word.

"...longing, when I'm asleep. I lack affection so I guess I unconsciously reach for it when I'm not aware of it." I suddenly felt bad for being rude to him, and for disturbing his sleep.

Law ran his inked fingers through his hair, setting some of the strands in random directions. We sat there for a few minutes, the air between us comfortable yet tense in its own way.

I slid out of bed and sidled over to my dresser. I had gone to sleep with nothing but panties and Law's oversized shirt, which went to my knees. Being exposed in front of him didn't really bother me. It made me feel, sort of, closer to him? It's like wanting to show off something that you don't have.

"We'll be arriving at the island in the next few days." I said as I slipped on a pair of shorts. "Hopefully it's sooner than later. I'm sick of being on this submarine."

Law got up and walked over to me, stopping an arms length away. "And why's that?"

"Because I'm stuck with a grump most of the time." I said it with annoyance even as a smile crept onto my face. He inched closer and looked down at my shirt.

"So you've just been wearing that for sleepwear?" He looked at his shirt and how it reached past my fingertips at the sleeves and doubled as a dress that went to my knees.

A blush crept onto my cheeks. "It's oversized and comfortable. Take it back if you want it." I crossed my arms over my chest, pouting my cheeks childishly.

He laughed, the smile sticking. I stared at him as he reached forward and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Keep it. You look cute in it," Law said with a smirk.

"Don't call me cute." I furrowed my brows, fighting my smile. My heart skipped merrily in my chest and my throat tightened with excitement. So this is what love feels like.

Even still, he kept that stupid smile on his face. "Sorry again, I'll try my best not to fall asleep in your bed next time." He gave a shy smile before shuffling over to the door and sliding on the shoes he'd kicked off there.

"See you at the crows nest."

The crisp air bit at my face painfully as I watched the moon rise over the horizon. Night had taken hold of the sky and the ship had settled into a peaceful quiet.

Well, except for the cheering and yells as pirates slugged down pint after pint of beer.

"Cheers to an amazing adventure!" Luffy yelled, raising his turkey leg into the air. Everyone in the crew followed with an "Aye!" and raised their glasses.

I smiled, standing with Nami and Robin at the edge of the ship. They both had a wine glass clutched between their fingers while I held a bottle of booze.

"We should be arriving at Casette within the next 24 hours!" Nami chirped while a smile played on her lips. I nodded, mirroring her expression. It's been a long week of training with Law, I can't wait to relax.

"I'm excited to see how you and Law will work out," Robin said, shocking me. She never said anything unless she really hoped in it.

"I've already made a map of the place for you to use while exploring. And don't go off into the mountains, stay in the city and have some fun!" Nami shook my shoulder playfully.

"I'll try my best," I giggled and took another swig of my beer. Nami continued talking to me, but my eyes had dragged themselves elsewhere.

Her words flew off into space as I looked over at the other side of the ship. Luffy was jumping around with food, typical of his childish personality. But it wasn't him who caught my attention, but Law.

He frowned with an annoyed expression as Luffy hopped around him. "Traffy!" Chopper and Luffy chanted, probably trying to get a reaction out of him.

I smiled, the thought of Law being annoyed by such simple acts lightening my chest. He was downright adorable. It's kinda like how people turned terrifying bears into teddies.

"You're so in love." Nami snapped me out of my daze. I looked to her to see the frown on her face, making my eyebrows crease up.

"Is that bad?" I asked, fidgeting with my shirt. My throat tightened as I awaited her answer, but she just kept looking at me.

The affectionate orange emotions that swirled in her eyes made me let out a sigh. "I'm so happy for you. When I first met you, you were a broken girl who had never felt true friendship."

I felt my vision blur as tears built up. "And now I'm seeing you fallen in love with your captain. I was worried for you when I first saw you, like a sister. And I really hope this works out." Nami reached forward and pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around her back, squeezing tightly as tears slipped from my eyes.

The way I connected with Nami and Robin was new. I'd never had it before yet it felt so familiar.

Robin smiled and pulled both of us into her chest as we sobbed like children.

"I love you, F/N!" Nami sniffed as she burrowed into my shoulder.

"I love you too, Nami!" I chuckled, squeezing tight. Robin and Nami joined in, leaning back and laughing rhythmically.

I'm so lucky.
