"Our last show of the tour is tonight," Tyler said aloud as you, Justice, Josh, and him were gathered in a booth inside of Cool Beans.
"We'll be there," Justice declared. You cracked a smile. She wouldn't miss one of their concerts for the world.
But then again, neither would you.
"I'm so excited," Josh laughed as he ran a hand through his hair. "This is going to be the best one yet. I can feel it."
Tyler nodded. "Yes, definitely. We'll make sure of it."
You smiled wide, your eyes crinkling up. It felt so good, being here. With all of your best friends.
You hadn't realized how much Sam had been restricting you. He'd done it little by little, and he tricked you into thinking you wanted to leave them for him. It made you feel so naïve, so stupid.
You noticed Tyler smiling at you, his eyes dancing. You tilted your head and he quickly looked away, red creeping into his cheeks.
"When does it start?" Justice asked.
"6:00," Josh replied. "But feel free to come sooner. You guys will always have backstage passes."
Justice grinned. "We'd better."
You all laughed together.
