Juice woke up with a little jolt. Shawn was still in bed next to him with her back up against his chest. It was still dark and Juice wondered what time it was. He reached to grab his phone off the nightstand, moving slowly so he wouldn't disturb her. He saw it was 5:30. The rest of the clubhouse sounded quiet, so he assumed everyone was asleep, but he didn't know how long they would stay that way. He sighed and gently rubbed Shawn's arm.

"Shawn? Hey, baby, c'mon you got to wake up." Shawn groaned and rolled over to bury her face in the pillow. Juice smiled and brushed her hair away from her face. Shawn looked at him, then around the room.

"It's still dark," she complained. Her grumpy voiced was supposed to sound irritated, but Juice just thought it sounded cute.

"I know. Sorry. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I was just thinking you should probably go before everyone else wakes up."

Shawn sighed. "You're probably right."

Shawn rolled over and threw the blanket off herself. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she bent and picked up her clothes off the floor. She put her feet in her jeans and stood to pull them up. Juice watched her. The site of her in only her jeans, with her bare back only covered by her dark curls, made him want to grab her and pull her back down on the bed.

She put her bra back on and was looking for her shirt when Juice sat up in bed and put on his own boxers and t-shirt. He then grabbed her shirt off the floor and handed it to her. Shawn took it from it and put it on.

"Can I ask you something?" Shawn asked and Juice nodded. "Was this a one time thing? Just get it out of our systems and be done?"

"What do you want?"

"I asked you first."

"I don't know if I can do that," Juice admitted. "But I also don't know how we make this work without Tig killing me."

"Yea. Guess we should have thought about that last night."

"We were a little drunk. What do you want to do?"

"I don't know if I can stay away from you. I tried. It didn't work obviously."

"I wondered if you were avoiding me."

"I didn't want to cost you you're top rocker."

"And now that I have it?"

Shawn shrugged. "It would be harder for Tig to get rid of you if he finds out."

"He can still break my jaw," Juice pointed out. Shawn bit her lip and nodded.

"So, is this it then?"

"I don't want it to be. I just don't see how we do this."

Shawn nodded, again. "I should go."

She turned to the door and had her hand on the knob.

"Wait," Juice said, stopping her. She turned back towards him. Juice crossed the room and took her into his arms to kiss her.

"Just in case," Juice said when they pulled away. Shawn knew what he meant. He wanted one last kiss just in case they never got to kiss, again. Shawn reached up to kiss him, again.

"Just in case," she repeated.

Juice kissed her forehead and then moved passed her and opened the door. He looked down the hall and saw no one. Then he did the same at the back door of the clubhouse. No one was in the parking lot either, so he motioned to Shawn that the coast was clear.

"Bye," she whispered to him as she passed him on her way out.

"Bye," he said back and watched her walk to her car. Shawn got in and started the car. He kept watching as she backed out of the spot and drove out of the lot.

When she was out of site, Juice shut the door and went back into his room to lay on his bed. He felt like he had to worse luck in the world. He finally found his dream girl and he couldn't have her. Knowing she wanted him, too, made it worse. It would be one thing if she didn't feel the same, but instead the only reason they couldn't be together was because her crazy ass dad would be pissed.

So, Juice stayed there in bed, wondering how bad a broken jaw could really hurt.
