Shawn walked in the back door of Diosa first with Juice close behind. As they entered the kitchen, Nero hit Jax causing him to fall to the floor hard. Jax jumped up to hit back before Juice had time to react. He quickly pulled Shawn behind him as he stepped forward into the room. Happy and Quinn, a recent patch in from another charter, came in to break up the fight with Gemma close behind. Once they were separated, Gemma stepped closer to Nero to check on him as he apologized to her.
"Don't be sorry! She's the reason we're trying to kill each other!" Jax shouted at the man.
"You got no idea what she's done for you!" Nero argued back.
"I know all I need to know, Nero."
Nero countered by telling Jax what happened to Gemma the last time she visited Clay for the club. The guards from the sell forced Gemma to sleep with Clay as they watched. The story made Jax feel sorry enough for his mother that he finally listened to her as she talked to him about Tara.
"I just talked to Margaret," Gemma told him, "who confirmed what you refuse to believe. It was all a lie."
Gemma convinced Jax to find someone else to confirm the story and he left shortly after, Shawn assumed to do just that. She looked over at Nero as things began to calm down.
"I think I'm going to head home early today," she told him.
"No problem," Nero told her, then added with a bitter laugh, "Probably enough excitement for your first day back, anyways."
"Yeah," she agreed. "Sounds about right."
Juice talked to Happy briefly before leaving with Shawn.
"I'll follow you," Juice told her on the way to her car.
"They don't need you for anything?"
"At least not right now. I'd rather make sure you get home safe, anyways."
He opened her car door for her and shut it once she was in. They went home and Shawn changed into more comfortable clothing. Juice had taken off his cut and boots to lay on their bed. Shawn joined him and cuddled against his side.
"As hot as you were in that dress today," Juice began, "I sure never get sick of seeing you in my hoodie."
"Me wearing your hoodie never made you choke on coffee," she pointed out.
"It's not really what you're wearing that matters," he said as he slowly unzipped the black hoodie. "I prefer what's underneath."
Shawn's breath caught in her throat as Juice slipped his hand inside the hoodie and under the tank top she was wearing underneath it. Her skin tingled as his fingers felt her bare skin.
"Juice," she began, not wanting him to start something they couldn't finish, but his name came out more as a moan than a warning.
"I know you can't do anything. Just let me enjoy you for right now," he said and firmly pressed his lips against hers.
Shawn reached up to hold onto the back of his neck. She didn't want him to move away from her. Once their kiss began to get more heated, she let her hands travel down the front of his body until she felt his belt buckle beneath her fingertips. Juice pulled away to give her a curious look.
"Just because I'm out of commision from the waist down doesn't mean you have to be," she told him.
"You sure you're up to that?"
"Absolutely."

They made dinner together and had just finished cleaning up when his phone rang. Juice talked to Chibs for a few minutes and looked at Shawn with a disappointed look when he hung up.
