TMNT x Depressed reader (Wrote in: 2018) (?)

I've been staying at senpai's for a while now. There were sometimes I wasn't allowed out of my room when these certain people came. I am loyal to senpai even though I am curious as to who these 'certain people' were.

It's been a nice and fun stay. Sometimes there are many customers and sometimes not. The harder I work the more I become happy because then I can show someone that I'm helpful. I just sweep the place up and mostly clean. I am also a good cook so any time he needs an extra helping hand I am the perfect person for the job. I learned how to make pizza gyoza although I'm not nearly as good as him. I could use some extra practice but I don't want to use all the flour and ingredients for creating pizza gyoza.

My day was just getting started and I was just sweeping. The bell rang out as I looked up. My eyes widened as I saw who was standing at the doorway and narrowed as they headed for senpai's direction. It was the gang called the 'Purple Dragons'. I stared at them with hawk eyes as I watched all their movements. One of the purple dragon members looked in my direction and realized that I was watching them. I had the look of a devil that if looks could kill they'd be dead in a matter of seconds. He flinched for a second when his eyes landed on me. He then looked back to senpai with a stern look. 

"Look, man, we need you to give us all your money if you know what's good you ya." My grip tightened on the broomstick and it cracked. The crack could be heard throughout the room. The Purple Dragons looked in my direction as did senpai. I growled under my breath as I slowly walked in their direction dropping the broken broom in the process. I kept on watching their every move as they flinched and took a step back. Once I arrived in front of them I gave the one in front of me a deadly stare making me look taller as he kept on shrinking down. 

"Listen here kids, if you know what's good for yourself then you better leave before I kick your ass," I growled once again knowing I could beat them to a pulp anytime. "Whatever complaint you have with senpai better come towards me. UNDERSTAND?!" They rose up once again knowing that they were shaking in fear over a stupid little girl who's acting to be brave. So they laughed it off trying to get themselves to act brave. 

"Listen here little girl, you shouldn't get caught up in these conversations. This isn't your problem but I guess we could have some fun with you." He smirked as he took a step forwards. I only smirked back at him and laughed maniacally. "You think this isn't MY problem?!?! AY?!?!?! WELL LISTEN CLOSELY BECAUSE I'LL ONLY SAY THIS ONCE!!! YOU EVER MESS WITH MY SENPAI AND I'LL KILL YOU!!!" My face hardened into a look of disgust and hatred.

I walked away from them and they started to laugh probably thinking that I ditched out and that I'm a coward. I only smirked as I came back holding a baseball bat. I banged the top of the baseball bat on the floor and got in a ready stance. I swung the bat with so much force that when it hit the leader of the group his face was in a wrong position. A huge bruise was placed smack dab in the middle of his cheek. 

I hit him again except in the middle of his face which gave him a nosebleed and probably broke his nose, whoops... Once he got back on his feet he grabbed the bat from my hand which stopped me from getting another hit. What he didn't know was that he gave me an opening. I knee kicked him right in the dick. (sorry kids idk what other words I can use =.=) He held the spot I knee kicked him in and he fell to the ground.  I smirked at my creation and spat at him. Looking behind the now weak leader I saw the other two dudes scurrying towards the door. 'Oh no, they aren't getting away with what they tried to do with senpai!' Before I ran towards the door I kicked the leader and made sure that he was down.

I raced out the door and heard the bell ring behind me. Standing in front of the door I could see the two of the men running for their lives. 

"YEAH, YOU BETTER FUCKING RUN YOU DICKHEADS!!!" I threw my bat which hit one of the guys in the head. He came crashing to the floor landing face first. The other one looked behind him once giving the unconscious guy an apologetic look before running away. I fell to the ground in a heap of laughter, seems like its not tears anymore but laughter instead. It seems to go on forever! To what seemed like an hour or so I finally calmed down and that was when senpai comes out of the door.

Once I got back up and stopped laughing I gave senpai a big hug. "I'LL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU SENPAI!!! I WON'T LET ANYONE TRY TO STEAL MONEY FROM YOU AGAIN!!!" He gave me a light chuckle and handed me some pizza gyoza in a bag.

"This is because you never ate. Now eat up before it gets cold!" He scolded me from the last time and went back inside. I started eating the pizza gyoza made by the one and only SENPAI!!! I gladly scoffed it down but realized I forgot something. Looking back I saw the bloody bat that was sitting there all alone. I sighed in relief knowing that senpai was going to be safe. Walking towards the bat I also realized I forgot another thing. The man was unconscious... it'll look like a crime scene if I keep him here. I heard a little groan before knowing that it came from the unconscious man. 

I jumped up in shock and kicked him to his side so that he was now facing up. His face was all bruised and it was bloody. I kinda feel bad for him, but I don't at the same time. The man got up and rubbed his head and started to groan again. I could see some tears falling from his eyes and landing onto his coat. It got soaked in a matter of minutes... now I really feel bad... I took a tissue out of my back jean pocket and wiped some blood off his face. He winced every time I would dab the tissue onto his skin. 

"Look at what you made me do... look... now you're making me feel bad!" He laughed a bit at my joke at grabbed my hand. "Thanks but I think I can handle..." My brows furrowed as I gave him a smirk. "No your not! Quit lying I hate it when people lie. Stop trying to make yourself look strong but you really aren't. Isn't that what your gangs about?" I kept on dabbing the bloody tissue onto the cuts as I gave him a soft smile.

"See? You were crying... because of me..." I looked down and cried a bit myself. I could tell he was staring at me... he's probably mad... He placed his hand on top of my head and gave me a little pat. I looked up and gave him a small hug. He was taken aback but in a matter of seconds, he placed his hands onto my back giving me a weak hug. I know that he's sad and all but I hate seeing people cry...

But what I didn't know was that someone was watching us... from a high building seeing everything, watching, stalking as some might say. The shadow was their home, this is their home. New York and they must protect it...
