TMNT x Depressed reader (Wrote in: 2018) (?)

~Preview~

  I turned around only to be met up with slobbery licks. My giggles turned into laughs as it felt like I was being tickled on my face. I carefully put the animal down as I wiped off the drool on my face. I got to take a long look at the animal as my face brightened up as I noticed that it was a really big and fluffy... creature...

(Y/N)'s POV

I stared at the Fox. It had white beautiful fur with barely visible whiskers. The Foxs' black nose was shining as the light reflected onto its nose from the moon's bright light. I wonder... what kind of Fox is it? Wish I listened in class... geez it would've come in handy. I kneeled down as the Fox sat in front of me. I reached my hand out and rubbed behind its ears in a calming manner as to not scare the poor thing.

"What are you doing out here by yourself?" I then started to rub under the fox's chin as it raised its head in an affectionate way. I looked at it more closely and as I looked around I noticed that it didn't have a collar. "Are you hungry little guy?" I stopped rubbing the fox and saw it nod a little. I got up and looked around. 

"Hmmm... I think I saw a store for animals... somewhere." I finally realized something from here. 'I don't even think that foxes eat the pet foods that they store.' This'll be harder than expected. I got back down on my knees and stared right at the fox.

"I'm sorry... I don't think I can help... I think you know how to hunt, right?" I tilted my head to the side and watched as the fox started sniffing around. The fox stopped in its tracks and ran toward something. Watching carefully I made sure not to be in the way so I stayed in the sidelines. The fox started to munch on something and once it was done it came jogging back. 

I had a huge goofy smile on my face. 'I never knew that foxes were much more loyal than humans! It came back to me!' 

It took a while but I thought I knew this fox more than my own family. It's like we've been friends for years! I talked and talked and maybe even cried a bit. I haven't even realized that the sun started to rise up but the fox and I just kept on talking to one another, and when I saw the fox and me, I just mean me. But to me, it felt like to understood. 'Maybe the fox lost its pack...' 

I started to yawn finally noticing how tired I was. I laid on my back and closed my eyes feeling a warm furball on my chest. I put my hands on the fox's fur coat and felt my heavy eyelids weigh down. I was soon drifted into the darkness into a wonderful dream...

(Y/N)'s POV

I felt a little nudge on my cheek. I fluttered my eyes open only to be met with two huge pretty black eyes. I smiled a bit knowing that the fox stayed with me throughout the night and even woke me up. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes as a yawn escaped my lips. I stretched my arms out wide and finally got up. 

"Morning f-" I eyes went wide as I nearly forgot something. "I FORGOT TO NAME YOU!" I shrieked and ran around in circles. The fox just stared at me confused at my weird reaction. I finally calmed down a bit and put my finger under my chin and started to think. 'Well I already know ONE thing... its a male... so... Hmmmm' I squinted my eyes like I was trying to imagine a screen to pop up in front of me to look up (cute arctic fox names for male). 

I realized something... maybe I should name it by what's it has given me. 

"I'll name you Hope..."
