Tig shrugged. "Figured you two would want to."
"Tell us what?" Jax said suspiciously. "What? Are you pregnant?"
Shawn smiled and shrugged. The guys began to cheer and the club hang arounds and Cro Eaters who were there joined in. Opie poured Juice a shot and slid it towards him.
"Trust me. You're going to need it," Opie told him. Juice picked it up and hesitated to drink it.
"Would you rather have juice?" Shawn asked him. He narrowed his eyes at him and drank the shot.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Clay asked Tig.
Tig shrugged. "I'm not old enough to be a grandpa. Seriously, do I look old enough to be someone's grandfather?"
"Maybe if you washed that black shoe polish out of your hair," Juice told him.
"This coming from the guy who's had a faux hawk since the ninth grade?"
"That's funny," Juice told him deadpanned. "You know what else is funny? Shawn calls me Daddy, too."
The guys all got quiet as Shawn gasped loudly, but laughed. "Juice!"
"Nice touch," Tig told him, impressed.
"Thanks," Juice said.
The rest of the guys finally laughed now that they knew Tig wasn't mad. Gemma and Tara entered the clubhouse shortly after. Tara approached Shawn.
"The news is out, huh?" Tara asked.
"About the baby? Yeah, we just told them."
"Good, glad I don't have to keep that secret anymore," Tara laughed. "How are you?"
Shawn looked around to make sure none of the guys were listening. "Not sure. I thought I was doing okay, but the idea of being in my house alone almost made me hyperventilate."
"I can set you up with an appointment to see a therapist?"
Shawn gave her a look. "Really?"
"Okay, okay. I'm sure it'll take time. Maybe try finding something to do to keep you busy when you're there? You need to start planning a nursery, right?"
"That's not a bad idea. Thanks."
"Hey," Juice said, interrupting them. "You about ready to go?"
"Yes," Shawn told him and said her good byes. They walked out towards Juice's bike. "I called Dondo while you guys were doing... whatever it is you do in there."
Juice chuckled. "Okay?"
"I said I'd go back to work tomorrow."
Juice stopped walking. "No."
"Excuse me?" Shawn asked in surprise as she stopped, too.
"Shawn, there is no way you're ready for that, yet."
"Shouldn't that be my call?" Shawn asked. "Besides, you're going to be busy with the guys. I don't want to sit home alone all day."
"Clay said I could take another day or two."
"I'll be fine, okay?"
Juice shrugged. "If you say so. Don't try to tough it out, though. If it's too much and you want to leave, then leave."
"Yes, Daddy."
Juice winced. "You mad I told him that?"
"Honestly? Not really. Damn, that Daddy thing feels like it happened a long ass time ago."
