"Really?" Shawn asked sounding annoyed. "And it's a mystery why Tara wants to divorce him."

"Yeah. Probably wasn't a smart move sending her there."

"Gee, ya think?"

"I was pissed," Juice defended himself. "I'll wait here. Make sure she doesn't come back."

"I'm going upstairs. I haven't seen Ally yet today."

"I'll be up as soon as I can. If you leave before then, let me know."

"I can't. I'm your ride," Shawn pointed out. Juice swore under his breath. "It's fine. I don't mind being here for awhile."

Shawn went to the NICU and sat next to Ally's incubator. She was sleeping, but Shawn didn't mind just looking at her for awhile. She hadn't been there long before her phone beeped, telling her she had a text message.

How's she look?

Shawn smiled at Juice's texted as she wrote back.

Beautiful.

A lot of the tubes and wires the doctors and nurses had put on her when she was born were gone now. Shawn snapped a picture with her phone and sent it to him. He texted her back quickly.

She must get that from her Mom.

When the doctor came in and saw Shawn sitting there, they talked for a minute. She was hopeful Ally would be able to go home soon. The new excited Shawn and she texted Juice again.

Doc thinks she can go home soon!

Juice texted back almost instantly.

Really?? Is she excited?

Shawn rolled her eyes, but laughed lightly to herself.

She's a baby you dork. I'm sure she'll be happy once she's home though.

Ally was beginning to wake up and the nurse brought Shawn a bottle. She fed Ally and, once she ate every last drop, Shawn carried her around the NICU. The doctor had said they were letting her spend more time out of the incubator and would be putting her in a regular bassinet for the night to see how it goes.

After awhile, Juice came into the NICU. Shawn carried Ally over to him and handed her to him. He kissed Shawn first, then the top of the baby's head. He spent time with Ally and fed her once more before they left for the night. He asked to drive and on the way home, Shawn realized something was wrong. She waited until they arrived and got inside before she asked.

"What's going on, Juice?"

"I probably shouldn't be telling you this," Juice admitted, "but I don't want to keep things from you."

Shawn sat nervously at her desk the next day at Diosa. She knew she was being pretty useless, but wasn't able to keep her mind off what the Sons were doing that day.

Juice confessed the night before that in order to get the club out of selling guns, they had to break Clay out of jail. The IRA would only hand off the business to him. They were going to take down the transport taking Clay to court. Jax had promised Juice that once SAMCRO had cut ties with the IRA, then they'd let Juice out with no hassle.

A little before noon, Nero picked up on Shawn's demeanor and asked if everything was alright. She had no idea how much he knew, so she settled on a simple nod.

"I was about to head to Gemma's for lunch," Nero told her. "She's watching the boys for Tara. You are more than welcome to join us."

"Really?" Shawn asked. It had been so long since she had been to Gemma's the invitation took her by surprise.
