*Ring* *Ring**Ring*
Your alarm persistently let out a loud ring. "Ughhhh" you growled as you rolled over to shut it off. Today was the first day of school. You had spent a beautiful summer vacation sleeping in everyday. Late mornings, and the entire day of nothing but fun, and relaxation. It all ended with the dreaded alarm. Mornings were not your friend. You begrudgingly sat up. The morning sun glinted through your windows, through a small part in the curtains. You always thought mornings were exceptionally beautiful, despite the lack of sleep weighing on your eyes.
"Honey! Breakfast is ready!" You heard your mom's sing song voice float through the air. The smell of food filled your nostrils, and you suddenly had a bit more energy.
"I'm coming!" You yelled back. You got up to get dressed, sleep still weighing on your eyes. You had to blink a few times to bring back your vision from the blurry dimension it had slipped off to. Rummaging through your clothes you chose a pair of skinny jeans, and a light blue blouse. You quickly brushed your (H/C) hair, and let it fall behind you. Quick waves fell down your back. You quickly checked yourself in the mirror, bright (E/C) eyes stared back at you. As you rushed downstairs you could hear your sister getting ready in the bathroom, the sound of a hair dryer filled your ears as you descended the stairs. "Are you excited for school (Y/N)?" Asked your mother, who was flipping pancakes, and doing a little dance around the kitchen. "I'm not excited about getting up so early, but I have a good teacher this year so that's a plus" you replied, eyeing the pancakes in front of you. "That's right I heard Mr. Brown wasn't a bad teacher at all" she sang back. As you ate your pancakes your older sister made her way down to the table. "Good morning Tessa, how is my darling this morning?" Your mother asked. Tessa replied with a loud thud as she smacked her head down on the table in defeat. You laughed. Tessa did not agree with mornings either. "Not a great start girls, you need more optimism in the morning" your mother sang while making the last of the pancakes. "Impossible" you replied shortly. Tessa just grunted as she attempted to shove pancake in her mouth.

Once breakfast was over, you and your sister packed your book bags, and headed out the door. "Have a great day today girls!" Your mother yelled while waving from the door. "She has way too much energy" Tessa grumbled. You nodded your head in agreement. The walk to school was somewhat peaceful. The morning sun was beautiful, and there wasn't much human activity this early in the morning. Little human activity meant not much talking, which in turn meant not much use of your brain, which was still groggy, and wishing you were back home in bed. You guys arrived at school relatively quickly. You read the dreaded sign marking the beginning of a long day. Due to budget cuts, and an incompetent contractor, your schools sign was spelled "Skool" instead. It made you chuckle every time you saw it. You both made your way up the steps just as the bell rang. The hall quickly filled with kids of all ages trying to navigate to their classes. "Alright Tess, I'll see you after school" you called to her as you walked the hall to your class. You approached the door to class, it read Mr. Brown, on it. You opened the door and quickly chose a seat off to the side. Once the bell rang again marking the start of class you, along with everyone else were surprised to see the principle stride in. "Good morning class" he spoke with a booming voice, which matched his physique. He was a tall man, with a broad build. His hairline was visibly receding, which matched his grey hair. "I regret to inform you that Mr. Brown has decided to take a position at the local college, and will not be able to teach you this year. As a result, we will be placing you in new classes throughout the school" He said with little emotion. Your heart sank as you thought of how excited you were to have Mr. Brown this year. You let your head fall into hands, and let out an exasperated sigh. You could by all the audible grumbles that the rest of the class was just as upset. "The school has generated a list, and randomly placed you with new teachers" he said as he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. "The students going to Mrs. Nelly's class are" he proceeded to list 5 students from the class which then exited the room. Your heart was beginning to beat faster, and faster. "The kids going to Mr. Robert's class are" as he named off 5 more kids that weren't you. You had a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach. "The kids going to Ms. Bitters class are" he boomed. Your heart was racing at this point, and your palms began to sweat.  Please for the love of all that is holy, do not make me go to her class. "Johnny, Melissa, Chelsea, (Y/N), and Jim" he called out with a hint of remorse. "NOOOO" Johnny yelled as he face palmed. You let your head sink to the desk. This is exactly what you didn't want. Ms. Bitters was the scariest teacher in the school, and everyone knew it. The lucky five to be going to her class all shared looks of disappointment. You let out an audible groan. Slowly, you all reluctantly got up and out of your desks, and made your way to Ms. Bitters class.
