(Y/N)'s POV :

I walked aimlessly thinking about who I should meet up with.

Suddenly, someone covered my eyes with their hands.

"Which idiot is this?" I wondered aloud.

"Your idiot, of course." A voice with a Scottish accent, a voice I recognized, replied. I decided to play along.

"I don't know. I know quite a number of idiots who are mine."

"Ouch, you wounded me little badger."

"Oliver!" I laughed "Take your hands off my eyes."

He laughed but obliged. "So, how's my favorite badger doing?"

"I don't know! I haven't met Jessica after the term ended, you see."

At that, he blushed. "Man up and ask her on a date Oliver. It is just a date! And, You are a Gryffindor!"

"It's not as easy as you think,(Y/N/N)"

"We are going to ask her, now. Um...I mean, we are going, and you will ask her."

"I can't take rejection, (Y/N/N)!"

"Godric, why are all the obvious couples oblivious? She clearly likes you back!"

And without waiting for an answer from him, I dragged him to Jessica's compartment.

"Hey Jess!"

"Hey (Y/N/N)!"

"Hope we are not intruding anything?" I asked her. Only then did she notice Oliver, standing awkwardly behind me, and blushed. "We were wondering, if we can talk with you outside."

"Um...sure." She stood up to leave the compartment. If I left Oliver on his own, he will give a lame excuse for wanting to talk with her and run away. Nah. I am not letting that happen. Think what you want, but I am the Cupid of Hogwarts! Or they say so.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?"

"Actually, Oliver was the one who wanted to ask you something." I told her giving him a pointed look that clearly told 'Tell her, you git!'

"Um.... I was wondering, whether.......whether....er...you wanted to go on a ..um datewithme?" He blurted out.

Who would have known the Gryffindor Qudditch captain Oliver wood, stuttered around the girl he had been crushing on for a long time?

"Sorry, I didn't catch the last bit!"

"Wanna. go. on. a. date. with. me?" He asked, trying hard not to stutter.

"You mean like a date date? Real date? Couple date? Not a friendly date?"

"Um ..yes?...Only, if you want it to be?"

"Sure!" she exclaimed, her cheeks crimson.

Helga! She blushed way too much around him!

"My work is done!" I sang and started walking past them.

"Thank you little badger!" Oliver called over his shoulder.

"Thank me with chocolates!" I said, walking backwards. "Also, I am not little!" He laughed.

"Thanks (Y/N/N)! I owe you one." Jessica told.

Still walking backwards, "I will keep the tab!" I told her and turned away, thinking about finding the trolley witch, and get some chocolate frogs. Merlin! I loved chocolates!
