It's Complicated

Later on that week I found myself getting ready for my date with Erick. The guys had moved out a few days ago, they had bought an apartment and where living on their own. They had also gotten started on the projects that they had waiting and seemed to be pretty busy.

I put on a pair of blue jeans and a white body suit just because I didn't know where we were going. Once I was done with my hair I checked my makeup then heard a knock on the door. I went over and pulled it open since Cami was spending the night with Romeo.

On the other side of the door stood Erick in pair of jeans and a t-shirt. "Hey" he greeted smiling at me, "hi" I replied letting him in. "You look beautiful and these are for you" he said handing me a box of chocolates.

"Thanks, trying to get brownie points I see" I said taking the box and setting it on the table. "Doing whatever I can" he replied, "Let me get my stuff then we can go" I said then walked into my room. "So where are we going tonight?" I asked as I grabbed my bag and shoved my phone inside.

"Nothing fancy just a fun time out. There where too many ideas but I settled on something in the end" he shrugged as I walked back to him. "Okay then let's go" I said getting the keys, he held the door open for me and then we walked to the elevator.

Our first stop was at the restaurant we went to when they got back into town. We had a good time talking and enjoying the food. "Okay time to go" he said paying the bill and standing up, "What where?" I asked as I stood with him. "Just come on" he said holding his hand out, I took it and we went to his car.

We drove for a while along the coast when I saw big bright lights in the distance. "No way" I said leaning forward to get a better look, "a carnival?" I asked looking back at him. He gave me a smile, it was then that I realised what he was doing. "Are we really doing this?" I asked with my arms crossed.

"Doing what?" He asked innocently, I gave him a pointed look. "Are you trying to recreate our first date?" I asked. "I said I was going to remind you" he said making me laugh. He parked the car then ran around to my side opening the door for me. We walked hand in hand toghter to the entrance.

We left everything behind us and just lived in the moment...well at least I did. We went on a few rides, got candy floss and popcorn and played a few games. We sat on one of the picnic tables that over looked the water and was away from everyone.

"Thanks for tonight I really had fun" I said looking at the view, "I don't think you need to thank me if I also enjoyed myself" he winked at me. I laughed and hooked my arm with his leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Just so you know I'm really restraining myself around everyone and everything that's happening around you" he said in a serious tone, "I know and I'm grateful that you're doing that" I said softly.

"I'm ready when you are" he said his voice just above a whisper, I pulled away and looked at him. He was looking in front of him with an emotionless face but I saw his lips turn downward. This was the Erick I knew this was my Erick. My heart skipped a beat at the thought.

I knew he was not talking about leaving this place. He was talking about me letting him go, he was going to accept it even if he didn't want it. He was so strong but on the inside he was a big softy. I loved that about him. I loved that we didn't have to speak to understand what the other felt or was thinking.

He turned to look at me his eyes a bit glossy, he leaned forward. His breath fanning my lips, I leaned in too and closed my eyes. We leaned in a bit more and our lips met in a soft passionate kiss, I pulled myself closer to him and relished the moment. It was like I hadn't been breathing all this time and his kiss was my source of oxygen.

Everything felt so comfitable and firmiliar. He pulled away and rested his forehead on mine my eyes still closed. "That was amazing" he breathed out, I giggled at him. We sat toghter watching the waved crash on the shore for a little longer before he took me home.

He walked me to my door, "well I guess I better get going then" he said shoving his hands in his pocket. I bit my lip opening my the apartment door. "Do you want to come in?" I asked pointing at the door. "I don't want to impose" he replied, I grabbed his collar and pulled him to me smashing my lips to his.

He was dazed when we pulled away, "on second thought..." he trailed of making me laugh. We both went into the apartment and closed the door behind us.
