II. Too Early for Conflicts, Commander

"Oh. Why wear dresses, Hanji? Our usual uniforms should be fine. I'm not that girly, anyways," I complained with a pout on my face, "Well, I want Erwin to see your beauty."

"What are you even talking about?" I asked with a tilt of my head, not having any clue on what she's blabbering about.

"Later, (Y/N)! Don't blush too much!" Hanji smirked as she waved her hand at me before running out of I-don't-know-where.

What's with that idiot? Talking about Erwin all of a sudden.

Wait...am I blushing? The hell would I.

— ★ ( A Little TimeSkip: Meeting with the Commander and Erwin ) ★ —

"So, who do you wish for us to capture, Commander Keith?" Erwin asked as we both looked on the papers inside the folders presented on the table.

Levi...? What a nice name for a thug.

"Well, you see Erwin, I heard rumors about this thug they call Levi. I need the both of you to bring him here and find out if this guy is qualified to be a soldier protecting Humanity."

"Roger."

"What if this Levi guy got companions?" I asked, putting a hand on my chin.

"We only need him. Dispose of them immediately."

"Don't want to," I replied, crossing my legs and arms and then leaning on the chair, "That's dirty work. Don't want to get involved with it."

"(Y/N)!" Erwin called, "Whaaat?" I lazily answered, Erwin suddenly pulling my cheeks, "O-ow— Erwin...! That hurts!"

"Interesting..." We heard Commander Keith muttered as he chortled, a curve forming on his lips, "Fine. From now on, you'll do this job according to your own accord, Squad Leader (L/N), Squad Leader Smith. All you need to do is bring the thug here, alive. You both will also be in charge of training him after that. (Y/N), you are now dismissed."

"Yay~ Thanks!" I beamed as I stood up from my seat, Erwin pulling my left cheek again, "Have some manners, will you!?"

"O-ow! Erwin stop that—"

"Haha. You sure both are very close," Commander Keith chuckled, making me grin, Erwin suddenly releasing my now reddish cheek, "Of course we are! Anyways, where are the paperwork for today?" I asked as I rubbed my hurting cheek.

"Ah, right (Y/N), get those paperwork over there. Then finish it by tomorrow."

"Okay. Good day, gentlemen," I uttered as I gave the Commander a salute before grabbing a pile of paperwork and then walked towards the door

— ★ Another TimeSkip: 2:30 PM ★ —

"Ugh... My back..." I groaned as I took a sip on a cup of black tea I made. My back and butt feels a bit numb from almost five hours sitting and working on the paperwork Commander Keith has given me, which gave me a headache. As I fill up the remaining paperwork, I heard a sudden knock on the other side of the door, surprising me a little.

"Name and business."

"It's me, (Y/N)."

Commander Keith?

"I'm coming," I said as I took multiple breaths before opening the door.

"Good day, Commander Keith. I am afraid I am still working on the paperwork you gave me, please give me more time to finish."
