*Jay's POV*
As I woke up my forehead was covered in cold sweat.
I had dreamed about the situation and everytime the women died at the end.
"We're you going? It's 4am, we only have to get up at 7..." Erin groaned when I woke her with my movement.
"Sorry babe, but I'm just having the same dream over and over again. It is like someone pressed the 'repeat' button. So I thought I should go out maybe jogging to clear my head." I smiled apologetically at her.
"It's the women, right?" Erin was about to get up.
"Yeah... just give me some time and go back to sleep." I gave Erin a quick kiss and then got some sweatpants on and went outside.
The first thing I did when I walked out the door was ram my fist into a tree. After that, my knuckles hurt, but I felt better.
As I jogged down the street I nearly stumbled into a women laying across the footpath.
"Ma'am, you're alright?" I got no reaction, so I rolled her on her back and was shocked.
Her face was badly beaten up and her eyes were starring at me, I felt her temperature, but she was cold.
At first I didn't recognise her because of the bruises... but it was the women I shot in the leg.
"Erin, call Voight, we got a problem." I had grabbed my phone and called my wife. She didn't answer me just hung up and I was hoping she wasn't too tired to not get what I told her.
I heard sirens withing minutes."What happened here?" Voight walked towards me and and looked at the women that got beaten to death and than at my knuckles.
"Sarge, that wasn't me. I was upset, so I punshed a tree. Then I jogged down here and found her laying on the footpath." I was hoping Voight would believe me.
"Jay! What the hell happened here?" Erin came running down the street.
"I have truly no idea." I pulled her into a tight hug.*Erin's POV*
As I looked down the street all houses were lightened up blue by the lights of the police cars.
I beheld Hank and Jay so I ran towards them.
"Detective Halstead?" A uniformed officer looked at Jay.
"Yes, that's me." He answered him.
"Turn around, your under arrest because of the murder of Lizzy Dullingham." He got his handcuffs and put them around Jay's wrists.
"Whoa. You can't just cuff him." Voight tried to stop him.
"I'm just following orders, Sir." He didn't even care about Voights attempts.
"Let him go!" Hank held my arm because he was afraid I would attack the officer.
"Let go of me!" I tried to get away from Hank.
"It's gonna be fine, Erin. Take care of Grace. I love you!" The door got shut and the car drove of with Jay in it.
"You can't just let them take him!" I was so mad at Voight for letting this happen.
"Erin... we both know it wasn't Jay, but they don't know. So they have to prove it and than Jay will be with you again. But it isn't helping him, if your getting arrested for attacking an officer." He dragged me back to our apart and made me a tea.
"Promise me, that we have to get him out, Hank. Please, you have to promise me." I looked at him and was near crying.
He didn't answer me and I knew it would be a ruff time.
