*Jay's POV*
I was sitting at Chicago Med because Voight forced me to get my ribs checked.
"Daddy!" Grace came running into the room and hugged me tight. I drew in the air sharply as she squeezed my ribs.
"Grace, sweety, daddy is a bit hurt." She immediately let go of me.
"Did one of the bad guys hurt you?" She asked fully shocked.
"Yeah, but it's fine." I grabbed her hand.
"Give me the name and I'm going to hurt him too." I nearly loved because the way she said it so serious was so sweet.
"Grandpa took already care of him." Erin came walked in the room and kissed my head. She had brought Grace to the hospital because we wanted to show her, that she is going to become a big sister.
"So, bro, two cracked but your going to be fine." Will explained it to me so Erin could hear it too.
"So, know to you two." He faced Erin and me and her changed positions so Will could start the ultrasound.
"Why 'you two'?" You could see the confused look on Grace's little face.
"Well, Grace. Your momma is pregnant." I said to her but she didn't understand what that means, so will showed her the little bubble her siblings was right now on the monitor.
"This is IN mommy?" Grace was shocked and ran over to Erin but than stopped and looked at her belly.
"Yeah, in some month your going to have a little brother or sister." Erin said to her.
"I want a brother. Can we give it back if it is a sister?" We all started laughing about Grace.
"Well, sweety, maybe you get lucky and get a brother. But I'm sure your going to love the baby when it is a girl aswell." I looked at my daughter.
"Not so sure, but maybe. Can we go now? I'm hungry." Grace grabbed my hand and tried to dragg me out of the room.
I grabbed my jacket and than we left and went to the nearest Starbucks were Grace got a hot chocolate.
*Erin's POV*
"Good night, Grace." I gave her a kiss and than put the light out in her room and walked over to our bedroom where Jay was already waiting on me.
"Jay, no. You got cracked ribs. Will said you had to take it easy." He was laying there fully undressed and I knew what was on his mind.
"I don't see Will here right now, do you?" Jay looked around and than shrugged his shoulders.
"Your a horrible person, Jay Halstead." He knew that I wanted him too and took advantage of it shamelessly.
So I got on the bed but right as he rolled on top of me we heard a voice.
"Mommy? Daddy? What are you doing?" Grace walked towards the bed.
Jay immediately got of of me and covered his waist.
"Nothing. Can't you sleep?" I invited her to hop on the bed.
Jay sighed quietly because he knew as good as I did, that we couldn't continue what we just started this night.
"So, I thought about this 'baby-thing'... Do you think it will like me?" She looked at both of us.
"Course it will like you." Jay took away her fear.
"But will do you still like you?" She looked at us and I could see the tears shining in her eyes.
"Grace, Princess, we're always gonna love you." I hugged her tiedly and she sighed.
"Wanna stay with us tonight?" Jay asked her and Grace nodded and than snuggled between me and Jay.
I enjoyed it having the whole family around this night.
