Marauders In Time part 2

The entire group spent the night at the Burrow. Remus took Charlie's old room whereas Ernie and Neville got to sleep in Percy's room. Luna and Cho were asked to share a room with Ginny, much to her displeasure, while Fred and George spent the night unable to sleep.

"You know," Fred said at 2 in the morning. "We should give Percy a welcoming gift."

"A nice little present," George grinned. "For being the worst brother-"

"-but the best assistant to the Minister."

The following morning, everyone sat at the table munching on their breakfast quietly. Mrs Weasley didn't question why there were so many new faces in her house but merely greeted them with kindness. Although it was clear to everyone how distraught she still was about the loss of Percy. Fred and George wanted to tell her everything will be fine and she will see him soon but they couldn't bring themselves to do it, mainly because Remus instructed they keep the plan to themselves.

"Are we ready?" Neville asked nervously, once everyone had finished eating.

The entire group gathered in the sitting room, with Remus holding out the four Time-Turners in his hand. They were about to go over the plan when Ginny stopped him.

"Remus," she said. "I...I don't think you should come."

Remus looked alarmed at this, "What? Why?"

"Because...your baby. And Tonks. She needs you. You can't leave her to come with us."

"Yes but we agreed to come back at this very moment so it will be like nothing has changed."

"But what if you don't make it? Remus I really think that-"

"No I am coming. It was my idea in the first place."

"What was your idea?"

Mrs Weasley stood in the doorway with Mr Weasley, both watching Remus and the Time-Turners in his hand. Mr Weasley seemed very interested in the Time-Turners while Mrs Weasley looked close to angry.

"What's happening Remus?" she asked.

Remus looked lost for words, "We...er..."

"We're going back in time," Fred grinned. "We have a job to do."

This only made Mrs Weasley much more annoyed than anyone had ever seen her to be.

"For goodness sake! First Ron. Then Harry and Hermione. and now you! You can't just do things without telling me! I am your mother and I forbid you to do anything of the sort!"

"Mum its fine!" George insisted. "We will be safe I promise."

"You don't know that! Look what happened to Bill when he was on duty! He now has permanent scars on his face because of that werewolf!"

"Molly," Remus said calmly, although everyone could sense the pain in his voice. "Please. We are only doing this because we want to defeat-"

"I don't care what you want to do!" Mrs Weasley wasn't at all fazed about how she had slightly insulted Remus. "I will not let you take my sons and daughter on some mission to stop You-Know-Who!"

"How else are we supposed to stop him then?" Fred asked in annoyance. "You think he will just drop dead all of a sudden?"

Mrs Weasley looked on the verge of breaking, "I have spent the last 27 years trying to keep my children alive and safe and give them the possibility of a beautiful life. Now one of them is dead! Another has run off with his best friends and you think I will let another three leave as well? I can't!"
