Your POV

I stood next to Astrid on a few rocks, with Dracul and his team of dragons, hovering next to Tuff as he manned the ballista. Astrid and I watched as four ships made their way into the harbour, with the rest of the fleet staying near the entrance of the harbour.

"Are you sure the Dragon Eye will be safe?" Astrid asked me, taking her gaze off the ships and turning her gaze to me.

"I'm sure. I promise you it'll be safe." I assured her again, but I didn't mind as I could understand her worries.

"Come on Astrid, my arms are starting to cramp," Tuff called out from the ballista, we look at each other before I hop onto Nyra and we take to the air.

"You ready Dracul?" I called over to my brother, as we had to take two of the Hunter ships while Tuff took out the other two.

"As I'll ever be," he responded nervously before sighing.

"Fine, I'm not. But I won't get injured." He confessed, causing me to roll my eyes.

'Famous last words.'

"Wait for it..." Astrid called out, causing me to get ready.

After a few seconds of silence, she gave us the go.

"Now!" Once Astrid called that out, Dracul and I plus Mischief and Dracul's team of dragons took off to take out the furthest two ships away from the beach.

We dodge all the arrows from the two ships in the front as we make our way to the other two.

"Dracul! I'll take the furthest one!" I yell out to him, through the chaos that is happening all around us.

Nyra flew ahead and down to the ocean level to shoot out the bottom of the boat so it would sink faster, I kneel as she fires at the bottom before she jack knives up towards the clouds to get out of the range of the Dragon Root Arrows.

"Let's show them what ya got girl!" I call out to Nyra, she roars before diving down and rolling gracefully to distract them from Mischief, who was taking them out as we go.
I watch as Mischief surprises all the men on board, before having the rest of the ship sink as we fly back to regroup with Astrid and Tuff.

Ryu and Dracul fly up next to us with the three other dragons following behind.

"Did you sink them?" Dracul questioned as I watched Stormfly pick up Tuff and start flying with him in her claws.

"What do you think?" I asked him sarcastically, just trying to lighten the mood. I look at him as he turns to look at the ships then look back at me.

"Fair." He responded, we flew to the next defence as the Hunters start encroaching to the Edge on land instead of the sea.

We kept fighting and fighting the oncoming waves of Dragon Hunters and one thing was abundantly clear as we kept playing defence.

We are running out of traps and ammo for everything.

Nyra and I were following Astrid as she and Stormfly were going to set off the last trap we had for the Hunters as Dracul reported that they were heading up that way.

Stormfly had slowed down a little and Nyra flew up to the side so we can see a pile of thick logs sitting on three logs on the edge of a cliff. I look at the hill to see Dragon Hunters walking up to it.

"Keep up." I heard one of the Dragon Hunters grunt.

"Okay, Stormfly. Spine shots! Right where we practised!" Astrid instructed Stormfly, alerting the Hunters too late as Stormfly had shot her spines at the three rocks. The hunters all ran back down the hill, jumping into the bushes and out of the way of the logs as Nyra and Stormfly land onto the cliff where the logs once were.
Stormfly perked up in a little pride plus surprise as Nyra hummed in happiness, Astrid sighed a little.
