The Adventurous (HTTYD Hiccup x Reader)

Second Person POV

A loud noise bellows from the Thunder ear, spooking everyone sleeping. Hiccup's eyes snap open, Toothless jumping from his position.

"What the--"

Snotlout yelps while clutching his stuffed animals more tightly than before, looking over his shoulder at the door. The noise caused him to panic, causing his body to go into fight or flight mode.

Meanwhile, Astrid sits up while yelling, knives in both hands as she looks around for hostilities. The blonde-haired Viking had her hair all over the place, giving her a wild look. However, Dracul falls out of his bed after sleeping on the edge, hitting the floor with a groan.
Meanwhile, Mischief jumps onto you, causing you to become winded at his weight. Hearing the Thunder Ear echo throughout Dragons Edge, you sigh, knowing there wasn't an actual threat right now.

"Goooood morning, Dragon's Edge! I-I-It's Tuff!" Tuff announces through the Thunder Ear as everyone starts to get outside to watch the commotion.

"Aaand Ruff!" Ruff then adds as her twin picks up Chicken.

"Aaand Chicken!" Squawks echo before both Thorstons speak again.

"In the mornings." They sing before Tuff starts humming a song, dancing around with Chicken as Ruff starts her segment.

"Alright, folks, now it's time for your weather forecast. Today it's gonna be freezing cold." Hiccup and Toothless walk out of their hut, yawning as they do so.

"And tomorrow will be, well, freezing cold!" Ruff adds cheerily, Snotlout walking out and looking at them in annoyance.

"Leave it to you two muttonheads to use the Thunder Ear backwards!" Snotlout yells, but it falls on deaf ears because that wouldn't bring down the twins' mood.

"Or...are we using it right-wards?" Tuff counters, quickly getting closer to the Thunder Ear.

"To inform the masses!" He then yells Snotlout groans while clutching his head, feeling a headache already.

"Plus, the earwax on this thing keeps our lips from chapping!" Ruff explains while running her finger around the Thunder Ear. Ruff applies it to Tuff's lips before her own, Tuff humming in the background.

"You know, we really should market this." Ruff then says to her brother before he moves to collect all the Terror Mail that came in the night before.
Heather then walks out of Astrid's hut with her axe in hand, still startled by the twin's shenanigans. She yawns as Tuff starts to speak.

"OK, let's check the old mailbag and see what Terrible Terror Mails came in last night." She looks to her left, only to yelp while looking at the mess Astrid was in.

"Oh, here's one for Snotlout! 'I miss your snuggles, too.' Signed, Mummy." Ruff teases, causing Snotlout to tense, not liking that they read out some private.

"Hey! That's private!" Ruff pulls out another one, identifying both their names. 

"Whoa, this one's addressed to us! 'Dear Ruff and Tuff, your cousin Gruffnut is on his way to visit you today...'" Ruff's happiness fades while she reads, looking up at her brother with shock.

"Wait, Gruffnut? Gruffnut's coming here?! Today? Oh, no. Look at me. I am a mess. Alright, the show's over. I've gotta go get ready." Tuff rushes, throwing Chicken to Tuff while walking away.

A crash is heard, startling the Night Fury lying outside the Clubhouse. The riders inside all watch Tuff rush around, chanting the same thing. Ruff, sporting an annoyed expression on her face.
