The Adventurous (HTTYD Hiccup x Reader)

Your POV

We were flying over the sea of Berk as there is a Scaldron in the water that had been harassing the fishers and taking their fish leaving the boats in pieces.

"All right, gang, we'll buzz past the Scauldron and draw its attention so Astrid, Ruff, and Tuff can net it from behind and drag it out to sea, got it?" Hiccup instructed us as Astrid carried the net so she could pass it to Ruff.

"Yes boss, it's like every other extracted the Scauldron task," Dracul said sarcastically which earned him a glare from Hiccup, which, in turn, made him laugh a bit.

"I still think we should blast it!" Tuffnut claimed to us, this was normal every time as well.

"Stoick just wants us to move the Scauldron out of Berk's fishing lanes, so don't get any crazy ideas," Astrid said flying next to them even though it won't work anymore.

"Uh, sorry. Crazy is what we do, Astrid. Duh!" Ruffnut said spinning Barf's head upside down.

"I mean you can't argue with that," Dracul told to Astrid who shook her head as Dracul giggled a bit.

"You guys do realize that a Scauldron's hot water blast can rip the scales right off a Screaming Death?" Fishlegs explained while turning around to face us after flying in front of everyone.

"Yeah, and we've done more dangerous." I shot back, then we all heard a roar and saw the Scauldron pop its head out of the water.

"There it is. Let's focus, guys." Hiccup says to everyone and we got in position.

"As usual, nobody's listening to Fishlegs." Fishlegs complained and I flew up to him.

"We are, we're just taking priority of the people and moving out the Scauldron." I explained to him so he wouldn't feel left out, he smiled at me a bit as Nyra flew off into position.

"One... Two... Three!" Hiccup yelled but at that exact time Fishlegs sneezed and Meatlug went spinning out of control.
They spun towards Snotlout and He got knocked into the net which cause us to have to abort the task. I saw Fishlegs make his way towards me and Nyra also saw this and flew higher.

"Aaah! Help me!" Snotlout yelled from the net and the Scauldron turned around saw us.

"Abort, abort! Ah! Fishlegs!" Hiccup yelled as Fishlegs flew into Toothless making them get knocked out of the sky. I saw the Scauldron move towards Snotlout and I decided to distract it.

"Uhh! I knew I hated this mission." Snotlout yelled out as the Scauldron approaches him. 

'Yes, you made it obvious all the here Snotlout.'

Nyra fired at the Scauldron, causing it to turn its attention away from Snotlout and towards us, it fired at us and Nyra rolled out of the way and circled around it. Nyra roared loudly at the Scauldron causing it to fumble back a bit and I'm taking the opportunity.

"Nyra wind!" I yelled and she used the power in her wings making a big gush of wind staggering the Scauldron , dazing it as well.

"Plasma blast, bud." Hiccup yelled and Toothless shot up the dazed Scauldron, it retreated back to sea.

"Oh, I see how it is. You're allowed to blast it." Tuffnut said to Hiccup and I, upset he didn't get to blast it.

We were flying up to Berk and I saw Astrid looking a bit distant, something was wrong. I flew up next to her and rubbed Nyra's neck and she started gliding and I walked over to see what was wrong.

"Something wrong, Astrid?" I ask her, she looks over at me surprised I was on Stormfly.

"No, it's nothing." She said quickly with her cheeks going red, with her having her eye's dart everywhere, her answer was too quick. She was lying.
