The Adventurous (HTTYD Hiccup x Reader)

Your POV 

I was looking through some Terrible Terror notes that Fishlegs wrote down from the Dragon Eye. I was looking for something to explain why Mischief had been acting this way, he's been tired, restless and it's only getting worse, but the only thing that remains the same is that he points his head to the East.

There wasn't much on a titan Terror though which confused me but by the time I had finished reading the notes I heard my name being called out.

"Y/n?" I heard Hiccup say, I look up from my notes to notice I was already at the clubhouse.

"Uh, Hi Hiccup." I greeted shyly, before walking over to the center table and placing the notes down,I sigh heavily.

"We'll find the answer Y/n, I promise." Hiccup stated putting a hand on my shoulder, he knows what I'm trying to do and he also knows how much stress is building up.

"Hiccup!" We both turn around to see Fishlegs crash land with Meatlug on the deck, I walk up to him and crouched down.

"What happened?" I asked and he look up at me with a look of destressed.

"You two might want to take a look at this." Fishlegs told us, Hiccup and I looked at each other with worried faces.

We were all flying along the island seeing spot fires all over the forest and Nyra looked uneasy so I kneeled down and pat her to try calm down her down.

"It began with one Fireworm, and as we were flying back, we kept seeing more and more." Fishlegs explained and I looked over at him then back at the ground.

"Do you think they're migrating?" Astrid asked from behind us.

"If they were migrating, the whole island would be on fire." Hiccup answered, but that didn't make any sense to me.

"Not necessarily." Fishlegs informs us.

"Here we go!" Snotlout complained.

"When Fireworms migrate, they send out scouts to see if their migration route is safe. If this is a stop along that route..." He told us but trailed off at the end.

"An entire flock of Fireworms could be coming through here!" Astrid realized and I heard Nyra growl lowly, but enough that I could hear her.

"Well, I say bring 'em on! I love those little scorchers." Tuff cheered excitedly. 

"Are you still gonna love them when they all land here and burn our entire island to the ground?" Hiccup asked with sarcasm laced in his voice.

"Yes! Wait, no. Wait, is that a trick question? Because it's pretty tricky." Tuff asked and I sighed at his, intelligence.

Dracul flew up to Fishlegs side. 

"Fishlegs, how much time do we have?" He asked him.

"Uh, it's hard to say. If it's a full migration, the rest of them could be here as soon as next week." He told us and I feel my shoulders drop at the bad news.

"Oh well that's great." Dracul said sarcastically.

"Huh, Good to know. It's been nice knowing you, island. Snotlout is outlout!" Snotlout yelled at the island and  Hookfang flew towards the sky.

"We're not abandoning the island, Snotlout." Hiccup told him, tearing away from the group to stop him.

"Uh, yeah, we are. Watch." Snotlout argued, but Toothless flew in front of them to stop them from flying.
