The Adventurous (HTTYD Hiccup x Reader)

Your POV

Nyra and I were speeding towards the cliff where Hiccup and Snotlout were running as they had upset a pack of wild boars.

"They are muttonheads aren't they?" I told Nyra as we closed in on them, she hummed to me as she landed in front of the boars and roared loudly, they run off and I turn to face the two.

Nyra flies up and picks up the two by her talons and we take them back to Toothless and Hookfang.

We took off and flew away from the island.

"OK, so check that island off the list." Hiccup said to Fishlegs who was keeping a list of islands we had been to.

"Ooh-hoo-hoo! This is so exciting! Searching the high seas for an island outpost to call our own!" Fishlegs exclaimed happily as I look through my spyglass for a new island on the horizon.

"Yeah, I like this idea! Move away from Berk, get my own place, away from you-know-who..." Ruff explained, meaning her brother. I highly doubted that they would get their own huts as they are the notorious twins.

"Yeah, you're telling me, sister. I am so sick of you-know-who. He never knows when to shut up! I want him out of here!" Tuff yelled towards his sister.

"Guys, let's focus, alright, we need to find an island that's safe, secure, and habitable for both us and the dragons," Hiccup repeated for the hundredth time.

"Blah, blah, blah! How many times do we have to hear that?" Snotlout asked annoyed and I chimed in.

"Yeah, I think we all get it!" I said and he looked at me annoyed, still somewhat playfully and continued on.

"Um, until we find what we're looking for?" Hiccup told us, but mainly to Snotlout.

"Hey if you three are done, there's an island like right there," Dracul said to us pointing to the right where an island was.

I surveyed the area we landed in, it wasn't bad as there were lots of fresh water and a good food supply. However, my checking off of all the good things stopped in its tracks and saw a blue flower we all knew too well.

'Blue Oleanders.'

"Not bad, not bad! Lots of freshwater, seems like a plentiful food supply..." Hiccup listed trailing off at the end, I walked up to him and pointed at the blue flowers the twins were near and everyone seemed to notice.

"And lots of cool blue flowers..." Ruff told us, sniffing the oleanders that she had collected. 

"I'm in!" She exclaimed to us, extremely excited before turning to Barf and Belch and letting them smell the aroma.

"Wait...aren't those...?" Astrid asked, trailing off as she examined the flowers more intently.

"Blue Oleanders, deadly poisonous to dragons." Fishlegs finished for her, everyone went deathly silent.

"So we're not staying?" Ruff ask while turning to us as Barf and Blech blasted her for the answer and we took back to the air to continue searching.

We come across another island as we fly down there are weird dots on it and Fishlegs points it out. 

"Whoa, this island is beautiful! I even like those weird dots all over the..." Then we get closer and we realize their Whispering Death holes.

"Those aren't dots! They're Whispering Death holes!" Hiccup exclaimed and Whispering Deaths come out and we stop, Nyra growls at them.

"Been there, done that" Snotlout stated plainly.

"Next!" Astrid yells out to us and we move on.
