Second Person POV
"Y/n?" Your brother asks after hearing a groan while he is applying ointment on your ankle, under the watchful eye of Gothi.
Gothi watches intently as you struggle before leaning on your forearms, and the elder moves to you before pushing you back down with her staff. Gothi places her hand on your forehead, calming you down as you lift your arm slightly.
Dracul continues his task while Gothi grabs a damp cloth and cleans the sleep out of your eyes, allowing you to see more clearly."Water?" You ask quietly, your voice relatively husky as Dracul moves like clockwork to a cup of water.
Gothi watches as her student carefully sits you up and puts the cup of water to your lips, and he tilts the cup up, allowing water to run into your mouth. You quickly down the water feeling much more relaxed now your ankle was numb.
"You worried us there, Y/n," Dracul whispers while you wake up more.
Nothing else was uttered since you would need your energy for the next day.

The day was hollow, the cloudy sky reflecting the day as you steadily take steps towards the boat with your brother. The ship was yet to be pushed into the water to set adrift, your parents' bodies covered with woven cloth.
Your father's axe, resting on top of the cloth, his burnt hands gripping it. The axe was repaired the day before. Your mother had the sword gifted to her by your father when they wed, and according to her, she hasn't used any other weapon since.
The sword had runes carved into the blade, it was barely noticeable, but it was there. Your mother never told you what they mean, but that the runes are for protection. You gently place a hand on your mother, closing your eyes as tears roll down your face. Your brother does the same with your father, opposite you as you start to speak.
"Lo, there do I see my father."
"Lo, there do I see my mother."
"Lo, there do they call to me." You repeat the phrase a few times as your voice gets progressively quieter before you stop speaking.
"Find your way home," Dracul whispers, "you are free."
You both move away towards the rest of the Vikings that came, Stoick was holding a torch while Gobber was holding your bow and arrows. No words are spoken while Gobber hands you and your brother your bows.
Two Vikings push the boat out to sea, and you watch it drift with empty eyes. Stoick stands by your side before putting the torch before you, allowing you to light your arrow tip on fire. He does the same with Dracul before taking steps back, watching while you both draw the bowstring to your chest.
With your aim true, you let the bowstring go, and the arrow flies before hitting the boat. The boat, eventually, is consumed by flames, a heavy hand places itself on your shoulder, and you look up to see Stoick.
His gaze was firmly on the ship.
"They gave their lives to save everyone else, including me."

While you walk to your house, with everyone else going to the Great Hall to celebrate, Hiccup runs after you before dragging you between two huts.
"Hiccup?" You question, not expecting to see him today.
"Y/n, how are you doing?" Hiccup asks, knowing it is a stupid question.
"I've been better," you answer before trying to leave, but Hiccup grips your upper arm.
"Do you... uh... do you want to come to see Toothless? He's been missing you, and... it could cheer you up a little?" Hiccup says cautiously, making sure not to upset you.
Your lips curl into a small smile while you exhale contently.
"Yeah, I'd like that. Thank you, Hiccup."
