Fight them, not each other! Pt. 2

"All right, whatever we're gonna do, we need to do it fast," Astrid explains to Tuff while looking back at him.

"What do you think about another crazy, out of control, brilliant idea?" Tuff asked us and I nod at his offer because it's better than nothing.

I had put a hood and mask on to keep myself a secret, Dracul did the same, as Nyra hung from the wall that the Hunters were trying to scale up with Ryu standing behind Tuff as Chicken was in his arms. We were to distract them while Astrid hid with the Night Terrors, waiting for Tuff's signal.

Once I saw Ryker he looked at me, taken back a bit as he tried to figure out who I was, trying to remember if I'm who he thinks. He shook his head quickly before pointing to the cliff.

"Don't stop until you kill every last one." He ordered, Tuff walked up to the cliff with Ryu standing behind him with Dracul on his saddle.

"Attack!"

"Good evening, Mr Ryker. We've been expecting you." Tuff greeted calmly, petting Chicken gently as he did.

"You can start with this one. But save the chicken. I like chicken." Ryker ordered to his men, Chicken gave Tuff a panicked cluck.

"Not to worry, my little fricassee. You won't be on anyone's menu tonight." Tuff assured, he started doing some sort of tribal style chant meaning that it was the signal for Astrid and the Night Terrors.

I look over at them to see the Night Terrors take the shape of a Night Fury to scare the Hunters. I look at the Hunters to see most of them running away in fear.

"Oh, no!"

"Hold your ground!" Ryker ordered while grabbing a bow from the ground that a Hunter had dropped in fear.

Ryker took the arrow and aimed at smidvarg before taking him out, causing him to fall from the sky. It took every bit of will I had to not yell out his name and have Nyra fly around to find him.
Once the Night Terrors separate into a wild frenzy all the Hunters calmed down, returning to climb up to the Edge.

"You don't think I've seen what Night Terrors can do? You people never learn." Ryker said to Tuff while looking at him as Nyra gets ready to attack.

"I could say the same for you, Ryker," Astrid called out to him, surprising him before Stormfly turned to the Night Terrors.

"Stormfly, now!" Astrid instructed Stormfly fired at the Night Terrors which cause them all to fly at the Hunters and start attacking them. Taking their weapons, pushing them to the ground and biting them.

"Now Nyra!" I told her, she unlatches herself from the cliff wall and starts firing at the Hunters while flying around to dodge the Dragon Root arrows with Ryu joining us.

I see Stormfly land as Astrid watches the Night Terrors wreck havoc among the Dragon Hunters, I see the sky start lighting up as dawn approaches. I turn my attention to the actual battle at hand with Nyra firing at some paddle ships, I hear Astrid yell and I turn to see Dagur there with an axe in hand.
Astrid also had her axe in hand with a battle-ready stance, ready to get payback for the scare he gave her when he attacked her house, making her family lose their home for a while.

"Go get 'em, Astrid," I whisper in the air.

"Hello, Astrid." Dagur greeted before she started attacking him and I turn back to what Nyra was firing at.

"It's not over for us, Chicken. We do not go out like this. Promise me you'll fight till the end. Promise me!" I hear Tuff yell out, with a cluck to answer, I turn to the noise to see Ryker, Heather and two Dragon Hunters scaling the cliff.
