You peaked out from behind the boxes. 035?!

Oh no...Hiding isn't going to work...

"Is there something you needed?" 049 asked.

"Oh, come on. I can't say hi to an old friend?"

"I'm sorry but I am busy. A chat is very inconvenient."

The position you were in was killing you. If you could just move a bit...

*Crash!*

"Oh no..."

049 quickly turned around and came to you.

"Are you alright, Y/N?"

"I'm fine...Well, for now."

"Don't worry. I won't let you get hurt."

"So! This is Dr. Y/N?" 

He helped you stand up before sighing and turning around, "Yes.".

"Well then. Hello there. It's nice to meet you in person."

You didn't say anything. You could tell 049 was a little worried. 

035 continued to speak. "So, this is the doctor that 049-."

"Please refrain from finishing that sentence. Y/N and I must be going now."

You stared at 049. He knew exactly what 035 was going to say. He didn't want you to hear it. What are they hiding, or more specifically, what is 049 hiding?

Your mind was starting to spin. Why was everyone hiding things from you? 049 seemed to be the only honest one but now it seems-

You were completely snapped out of your thoughts. The only thing you remembered hearing was 035 saying something about a vessel before you felt 049 grab you, practically picking you up, and running out of the room.

"H-hey! That hurts!"

049 stopped and let you go. "My apologies. But, I had to act quickly."

"I- It's fine."

"Now then, it's best we get going before he tries to catch us."

"Yeah..."

What just happened?

Your walking pace was fast. Part of you was scared of hearing any other voice or unidentified noise. 035 scared the heck out of you.

"049."

"Yes?"

"What was 035 going to say?"

"Oh, nothing important."

"Well, I still wanted to know. It did have something to do with me."

"Y/N, it is unimportant at the moment. I-."

"You're hiding something from me. I heard what he said. What did you do concerning me? What was he talking about?"

He turned stopped and turned to you, "Y/N, Please, I do not wish to speak of it at the moment.".

You huffed before continuing walking and refusing to look at him. But, he eventually walked past you, you slowed down, almost completely stopping. Kind of staring towards the ground.

Was it something bad? Or... embarrassing?
