---5:43, U.A. High School---
"What is it like having All Might as your teacher?" a news reporter shouted as he shoved a microphone into Y/n's face.If there was one thing they hated, it was social interaction. If there was anything they could possibly hate more, it was being recorded. Mixing the two together so early in the morning was not good for their blood pressure.
They looked at the camera and frowned. "What's it like spending your time bothering school kids?"
The news reporter froze, stuttering out words about the attitude of younger kids. Y/n shrugged and walked away, ignoring the rest of the crowd before they lost their temper.
After the Hero vs. Villain battle training, Y/n was sore and exhausted. If this was a constant for heroes, they didn't understand how they continued to work. Rolling their shoulders, Y/n wished they had a Quirk that was less straining on the body.
When walking into the classroom that morning, Y/n realized they were the last to arrive. Even Kaminari and Mina were already there. The students had been gathered in their small groups of newly forming friends, too distracted to notice Y/n walking in. They didn't mind going unnoticed after the news camera was shoved in their face. However, when they saw Kaminari casually chatting with his friends, Y/n was even more ticked.
Slumping into their seat, Y/n noticed they weren't the only one alone. Bakugou, they remembered, was the boy that sat next to them. He looked unapproachable with his display of aggression. It made Y/n feel a little silly. They didn't want to be someone as annoying as him, despite their anger problems.
Turning over to see their bright and bubbly classmates, Y/n frowned. They didn't want to be that extroverted either.
They considered if hero school was worth it for a moment. If they hadn't been in class 1-A, would Shinsou have a chance? Would they even be able to find Hitomi with a license? Y/n certainly didn't want to work with the useless police force that had shouldered her case. They could have gone on their own already, and maybe even found her.
Aizawa shut down the class conversation when he appeared in the class and plopped down a heavy stack of papers on his desk. "Good work with yesterday's battle training. I've looked over your grades and evaluations." His droopy eyes looked over to the boy beside Y/n. "Bakugou. Grow up already. Stop wasting your talent."
They glanced over at him as his tensed in his desk. Although it was a true statement, they expected the violent boy to react. He just gritted his teeth and muttered "got it".
"And... it seems Midoryia ended yet another day with a broken arm. Learn to control your Quirk," his expression darkened, "because just trying isn't going to cut it. I hate repeating myself. But you do have potential, assuming you can overcome this. Work at it, Midoriya."
"Okay!"
Y/n huffed. Of course the two boys that destroyed a whole building on their own would get a lecture. They have enough raw power to kill each other, one would imagine they would be more responsible.
"Now, on to homeroom buisness. Sorry for the sudden announcement, but today... you'll pick a class president."
"SUCH A NORMAL SCHOOL-LIKE THING!!" the class--except for Bakugou and Y/n--shouted.
