And alpha to wolves. Did I mention he is blind? Well he is, but he is his packs strongest fighter. It's why he s future king. How will they react to being mates? Their kind have been estranged for centuries. Will they be able to bring both pride and pack back together? As the Sun and Moon Goddesses hope they will.

Crystal's POV
Hi everyone it's Crystal Pryde, don't remember me? Then you may remember my mother Delia aka Lady Anastasia. Now Queen of all feline shifters with my dad Adrian as her mate and king. Recently our territory and the canine's territory have been getting closer together as both groups have grown. Now taking up half the worlds population instead of a third. Humans still don't know we exist. But it's getting harder. Especially with fights over territory. Mum and dad are in the middle of negotiations with the king and queen of wolves, hoping to form a peace treaty with them.
Anyway my family has grown by two since last we meet. I had a little brother and sister. The twins Jack a liger like Alisha and Delia a Lioness. They are 20, while Alisha, Leo and I are 22. Just in looks and maturity of course. Though my brothers can be very immature at times and Delia is always nicking my clothes. Not that I mind, though Alisha hates it when she nicks her clothes.
"You Crystal! Have you seen our ball?" Jack asks.
"No Jack, ask Shane" I tell him. Shane is one of our many cousins. That's what happens with you have five uncles and aunties.
"Jack found it!" Leo shouts and I hear them leave. I sigh and get back to my journal. I finish my entry and close it. Locking it. I decide to go for a run.
"Where do you think you're going in such a hurry?" dad asks.
"For a run" I tell him.
"We're having guests in two hours" he states.
"Oh Adrian, let her have a small run" mum tells him as she comes up behind me. "But be back within an hour" she tells me. As she looks at me.
'Yes mum' I sign and she smiles. Everyone in the family knows sign language. Actually all feline shifters know it. We don't discriminate against those we disabilities. We accept them unlike the blasted canines. Who kill or abandon those they see as weak. 'I love you' I sign.
"I love you too" she tells me and gives me a hug. "Now be-careful and no talking to strangers" she reminds me.
"I know mum" I assure her. I hug dad before leaving. I run into my sisters.
"Can we come too?" Delia asks with her kitten eyes.
"Fine, but you had better keep up" I tell them. They cheer and we left. We shift into our feline forms and stretch. Before sprinting off.
'Last to the falls is a rotten egg' Delia tells us. She and Alisha take off at top speed. I roll my eyes, they are just as competitive as our brothers.
James' POV
Today I am meeting the royal feline family. While my king and queen try to organize a peace treaty with them. As they have no heir, they made me their heir. As I am the strongest alpha, even if I am blind. Those with disabilities were usually shunned in our culture. But my parents never abandoned me after my accident that left me blind. Dad trained me hard and I became the best fighter in our kingdom. I can see sort of like a bat, each step I take the more I see. I haven't found my mate yet. But I hope she'll accept me as I am.
Since I took over my pack three years ago. I have accepted any wolves that were cast out of their packs. Because they were deemed weak. Either because of a missing limb, a learning disability or were runts. I won't have anyone feel like they don't deserve to live or have a pack. Everyone is welcome and when I become king I'll forbid packs from making any of them rogues. Someone would only be made rogue if they commit a crime.
Anyway I decided to go for a run as we're not due to meet the royal family for two hours. I was told not to leave the hotel until then. But my wolf is antsy and a run would calm him down. So I left the hotel and made my way to the forest. I make sure no one is around and strip before shifting. Once I shifted a mouth watering scent filled my nose.
'Mate!' my wolf cheered. I take off following the scent. Not to fast as I don't know the forest and needed time to sense objects in front of me. I can't believe I'm finally going to meet my mate. But why is she on feline territory?
Crystal's POV
Delia won as usual. Now we're all chilling by the waterfall. Alisha resting on the moss in the shade. Delia sun bathing. While I relax on a rock after a swim. 'This is the life' Alisha sates.
'No rules, no responsibilities' Delia says sighing contently.
'Speak for yourselves, I have to become queen and then there won't be anymore fun afternoon runs' I grumble.
'I thought you got over that?' Alisha says confused.
'Do not get me wrong, I love our people and cannot wait to be queen. But this thing with the wolves, it is driving our parents crazy. If they finally make the peace treaty, then I will have to keep it and honour whatever they agree too' I state.
'Stupid mutts, they always smell like wet dog' Delia grumbles.
'Speaking of wet dog, I think I smell one now' Alisha states standing up scenting the air. Delia and I get to our feet doing the same. A mouth watering scent of pine and mint fill my nose.
'I can smell it too' Delia says wrinkling her nose.
'I only smell pine and mint, it smells amazing' I tell them. They give me a weird look. We hear a twig snap and turn to see a wolf. We freeze in shock. What's this wolf doing on our land?
