Kaka's POV
I sigh as I am left to mind the cubs. Honestly, how did I get stuck baby sitting while my pregnant mate is away having our cubs? I thought I'd be retired from cub sitting. I guess not. "Uncle Kaka, can you tell us a story?" Usiku asks. His is my mate's brother's cub. Well one of them. He had three with his mate Nia. Then the other five cubs I am looking after belong to Akido, Kasi, and Kula. My mate's brother is called Ahadi and my mate is Jasiri. She is the bravest lion I know.
"I guess I can tell you a story" I tell them. "Gather around kids" I tell them as I lay down. They all gather in front of me. "This is the story of Scar's first born cubs. Jasiri and Ahadi, and how they found their place in the circle of life" I state. "This story begins when they were very young, younger then you all. Their cousin King Simba was being presented to the herds as prince of the pride lands" I begin.
