If It Happens (Wenclair)

Wednesday's POV

The next day my body was heavy and weak from the night's erm.. exhaustion. I begrudgingly put on my clothes and let Enid sleep in a bit more and I heard knocking on the door.

I froze up unsure of who it was, I was not supposed to be on school grounds. "Hey guys it's just me- kind of.. just open the door please" I heard Bianca on the other side.

Enid was fully naked still so I threw a blanket over her and let Bianca in and.. Uncle Fester?

"Heyya kiddo!" He exclaimed and pushed Bianca aside to let himself in. Bianca had a disdained look on her face as she followed him in.

"Whoopsie!" He said noticing Enid who was now fully awake, mortified, and clutching the blanket against her body.

"Uncle Fester and Bianca please turn around" I snapped and handed Enid her clothes and closely watching the two visitors to make sure they weren't sneaking peeks.

"Ok we're good" Enid said confidently. "Hello Mister Fister- I MEAN FESTER" she quickly tried to cover up her mistake. He only chuckled in response.

"So you were in Wednesday's bed huh? Aheheha do I even have to say anything?" He said giggling.

"Uncle Fester!" I quipped at him. He turned his head down in apology.

Poor Enid was right behind me hiding with her head peeking over my shoulder so I reached back and pulled her arms around my waist. I am not ashamed to show my affection for this girl.

"This dude apparently was in my room all night and I didn't notice until this morning. So I came in here as soon as he told me he was your family." Bianca looked wary and at this point just done with dealing with him.

"Well I heard what was goin on over on this side of the world and thought maybeee it wasn't the best time to be popping through the window. So I hid under this nice lady's bed! It's the closest I could get to courtesy" he smiled and laughed again.

Bianca snapped "no, courtesy would've been TELLING ME YOU WERE IN YOUR ROOM AND NEEDED A PLACE TO STAY FOR THE NIGHT AFTER EXPLAINING WHO YOU ARE."

"Ok can you just hurry up and tell me why you're here? What is going on?" I asked impatiently. "Right right well your parents got the call a couple of weeks ago that you were expelled and knew after some time of not being home that you'd be here. So I swung on by to check on what's been happening."

I sighed in relief. Him being here could've been a million other things but just to check on me? I'm good. Wait, no I'm not.

"Wait wait.. Yoko and Xavier.." Enid squeaked behind me and squeezed my waist. "Fuck."

I gave Bianca and Fester the run down of me going on a date with Xavier then Enid absolutely demolishing Xavier and Yoko like a badass.

"Their bodies are still out there?" Bianca asked in shock. "Why would you just leave a whole ass crime scene??!!"

"W-well you see when Enid changed back from being wolfed out she was erm.. unclothed. So I wanted to take her back to the school and then..."

"Anywayssss" Enid cut through. "We need to get to the woods. Like right now." Bianca sighed and said "I'll steal Ajax's car again."

So again we drove down the road until we could park closer to the area and sure enough there was Yoko and Xavier gutted and torn apart. Flies and ants piled onto their flesh and bones, worming their way in places we couldn't see.

"Alright leave your Uncle Fester to take care of this, leave the car and I'll be back with it in 3 hours. No questions." I gave him a simple nod and the three of us headed off to Jericho.

We went to the Weathervane all pent up with anxiety and of course, Aster was there. She was sipping something from a cup and reading a book.

"Oh hello" she said noticing all of us together and waving us over. "Wednesday it's good to see you again!"

"Cut the bullshit Aster I don't need to play nice with you anymore." I said back in my monotone voice. She laughed and nodded. "I was sure you'd be back in New Jersey at this point, but Jericho is a good town too. Do your parents know you're here?"

Enid shifted uncomfortably and Bianca just had a negative energy radiating from her. "I'm 18, I didn't need to go home, but regardless they know I'm here."

She sipped her drink and looked at Enid. "I'm so happy to see you're all better from that mishap a while back. But the past is in the past."

Before Enid had the chance to lunge at her, which she was going to do, I pulled her by the waistline.

"By the way have you guys seen Yoko?" Aster asked nonchalantly.

"Not today, why are you asking about her though? I saw her yesterday in class" Bianca answered perfectly.

"Oh nothing I just had to see her this morning and she didn't answer.." she cleared her throat. "She didn't come to my office and we had an appointment."

There was an awkward pause before Bianca spoke again. "Ok well, we're going to get our drinks now."

I ordered Enid her fruity tea and Bianca got her coffee but we decided to not enjoy the lovely company of Aster and we left to sneak off into Bianca's dorm.

She lived alone and her room was adorned with beautiful scenery paintings and sleek furniture. "Damn... Weds we really need to upgrade our room" Enid said in awe.

Even I envied the effort put into this place. "We'll talk about it love" I said trying to picture how we would mesh our two styles together.

"This is for the loud thunderous nights" Bianca said holding up noise cancelling headphones. "Hey you're the one that told me to fuck her last night" Enid said smirking.

"I didn't mean get LOUDER I meant to just- you know what never mind. Sip your tea Enid. We need to wait for Wednesday's creepy uncle to come back."
